    Mind the green speed!

"Slow" greens let the ball roll 90% of the indicated length, "Standard" = 100 %, "Fast" = 110 %.

www.wgtcaddy.com and you can check on youtube for EASY installation

    Slow greens....................Distance +/- incline x 1.2 = strength needed

    Standard greens.............Distance +/- incline x 1 = strength needed

    Fast greens......................Distance +/- incline x 0.9 = strength needed

    Very fast greens...............Distance +/- incline x 0.84 = strength needed

Tournament greens....... Distance +/- incline x 0.77 = strength needed

Legend greens ...............Distance +/- incline x 0.72 = strength needed

    Championship greens...Distance +/- incline x 0.67 = strength needed

Round up and you should be ok.

    ScottHope:

'The Starter Putter has a 30 foot scale with 5 equal backwards movements.  30 feet divided by 5 movements is 6 feet per movement,  so each time the putter moves backwards you're at the 6 foot mark (or 12, or 18, you get the point).  On the 60 foot scale there are also 5 movements, each representing 12 feet of power.  On the 150 foot scale there are 10 equal movements with each representing 15 feet of power.  On the 300 foot scale there are also 10 equal movements with each movement representing 30 feet of power.'

Download WGT Caddy - essentially it's (a ruler tool) like putter pal, but it's free and will work with any club

These putter pals and other pals can cost a lot of money in the long run. I find a cut down post-it note with a few pencil marks works just as well.
