I've had the Rossa for a few years now.....  I purchased the Odyssey because it did have slower meter speed looking at the specs.... but also it had the same Putting Scales.

My first impression of the new putter was really good, but I didn't notice any different speed in the meter....

Then my putting started to suffer... missing too many gettable putts...

Changed back to the Rossa....  the last few days I've noticed the Meter speed of the Rossa has Quickened.... hmmm....lol

....and yes changed back to the Odyssey and wow... the meter speed of the new putter is heaps slower... well not heaps, but it is slower

I love my Rossa, and was thinking about buying the Odyssey. But i would only buy it for the slower meter. For $25 bucks, the meter should crawl, lol. I'll wait to see what happens on this one. Until then, smacking the Rossa.

Being a miss ding putter i purchased the 1,795 credit Odyssey , i currently use the level 66 Ghost , have tried the level 92 but the precision is to much.

So i looked at the specs and the level 66 Ghost was almost identical to the level 30 1,795 credit Odyssey.  Noticing the slower meter i thought beauty and purchased it. I lasted not even a week before i realised it was a scam, the Odyssey is definately faster in the meter than the Ghost.  Odyssey was a beast when i rented it hahaha !

So after selling my old ghost for 25% of the value , and buying the new Odyssey at 1,795 credits then reselling the Odyssey at 25% , then i had to re purchase the Ghost again at 1,200 credits.  Talk about a drama and a good income for WGT under false advertisement .

I know i should have kept my old Ghost instead of selling it , an expensive lesson but shyte happens !

    dflop !

I bought it slightly through toy shop intoxication, but ALSO BECAUSE of the ADVERTISED specs.  I have even posted a video of it compared to the L80 MAX, same L81 Nike ball. Alas I do not have the L77 Nike to do that with any more. Result was that the L80 MAX looks evr so slightly faster than the Odyssey, but not an amount you would care. Certainly it does not run as slow as the Nike used to from memory. I wish I had a video from when I very first got teh putter because I think it's speed increased.

Up until this point I was happy to say you can trust the pro shop specs, but no more.

Now I can only say th pro shop specs are only reflective of growth this week, who cares about next culture. Moreover, I think I am reasonable in this as the putter is not as advertised!

WGT have had long enough to come forward / clean / whatever on this issue, but they remain deaf to it! It is still a very good putter, just not worth the change when it's real specs are known.

WGT are now continuing to sell this under false pretenses, and so the profit's are fraudulent sad to say!

WGT please comment - we do not like being robbed as fools!

Please action this ASAP. Innocent misrepresentation is one thing and communication can go a long way to resolving the issue! Ongoing it becomes fraudulent misrepresentation and that's a BIG deal!!

I am not trying to be rude, this is a big deal. What about all the new driver's or the next new one that I might look at? Can I go by the specs??? Do you not care about lack of confidence? Do you not understand what a big deal in law this is??

WGT have all their bases covered.!!

There is only one time they will sit up and take notice of anything, and that is when the cash register stops going "KERCHING"

Below is an exert from their terms and conditions.

You acknowledge and agree that that in the course of providing this dynamic environment, WGT will, without providing notice, be making ongoing modifications and improvements to the Game Software from time to time in the course of the operation and development of the Site. Such changes may affect the performance and interaction of individual components of the games, performance of virtual items, contests and challenges available on the Site.

In addition, you agree that WGT retains the sole and unfettered right to change, remove or modify the available virtual items from time to time (which may among other things make one or more virtual items more or less effective or functional, more common or less common, or eliminated entirely). You may not use, distribute, develop, promote or facilitate use of cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the WGT game experience to the detriment of fair play.

YOU HEREBY AGREE THAT YOU WILL NEVER ASSERT OR BRING ANY CLAIM AGAINST WGT OR ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES WHICH IS RELATED TO OR BASED ON A CLAIM THAT YOU OWN OR ARE DUE VALUE FOR ANY VIRTUAL ITEM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION RELATING TO THE MODIFICATION OR DELETION OF ONE OR MORE VIRTUAL ITEMS.

Sigh, I'm glad I didn't listen to your thousend of cries about the putter and its meter speed.

You guys must be delusional or something, this putter is incredible and the meter is without a doubt way slower than the Rossa's, hell the only putts I missed is where I clicked too early because it was so slow, lol.

all in all - very pleased with this putter, smooth as hell

Yup, but you would expect those terms and conditions to come into effect a while after something new comes to the fold, not when it has just been  released.

As Jimbog has said, confidence in the pro shop needs to be top notch, and this is something i have not had in that department in a long time.

If i remember correctly, something similar happened a couple of years back, and it was rectified after a while, but only after a big uproar in the forums. But the problem was solved in that the higher speed was eventually used as the proper setting, and the speed of the meter in the advertised club was increased. Watch this space.

What you expect and what you get don't always tally, and this is WGT!!!

Fingers crossed there'll fix it, but  I won't hold my breath!

Terms and condition's are not above the law!
