excuse me 53-58 v us open qualifier numbers?

  What a scum bag: hard to argue pure stats though.

  111Paulie is also teeing off from much closer with an essentially similar driver.

  Once he get's some game he will see birdies are abundant out there and some crow eaten he will do.

  Accusations such as this are entirely WGT's fault IMHO, most of us mere mortals most of the time will ding a shot and witness it jump of the club 4 or 5 yards wide, look at the leaderboard and see 53 and wonder purely WTF, and HTF can that be, obviously they are not playing under the same conditions, we just did.

  Some of us know they are though, and we know hot rounds happen, some have not had them yet, some have them more often then others, and some want them to happen all the time. However they are not going to happen until you give it a chance to happen, and that takes skill's.

  I don't think VEM has anything to do with it. It's the US Open qualifiying time, the newer members who haven't seen this type of scoring come out of the woodwork and complain and accuse. I remember the same thing last year. We'll have to suffer the fools until it's over. Next year, a whole new crop will rise up again.

  a 59 should be the max but realistically it should be closer to par for the course. 5-6 under maybe, Maybe!

   

  Hi Grant, and welcome to WGT.  I hope you will enjoy the game as much over the next year as I have since I joined a year ago.

  I have a response to your post, but first, I want to ask you two questions. 

  First, if WGT was made so difficult that the very best players would shoot -5 or -6 over 18 on their best days, how do you suppose those changes to the game would impact players such as yourself?  I'm just asking for an estimate of how many strokes you believe would be added to a typical score.

  And second, would you enjoy the game if it were that difficult?

  I don't mean to put you on the spot, but I would appreciate a reply.

  Sorry that you didnt get the memo .But, unless you are either Legend or Tour Legend, you are not invited to the party . The only reason we get to play , is because it causes ball usage , and sales . I dont know if you noticed , but you are playing from the back tees , which is where the Legends and Tour Legends play from. So dont wast your time or your balls, just play else where and have fun .   You didn't wrong me Lonnie..not at all.

   

  But when I see an inane comment such as the one you made ( I'll paraphrase) "This is a TL and Legend Only Tourney"......FFS, you're at the level yuo can get the clubs to compete with...you make it sound like you have to be a TL or Legend...FFS-again- a level 94 Master, TP, etc, can get the best...near the best..gear to compete.

   

  You make it sound like "poor me...I'm a TM, no way I can compete"...well geesh, then pony up for R11's, toss the pings back to the proshop, and see what it's about.

  There;s my bone..I don't need to plae a thing on anyones wall when they publicly make a short sighted statement.

   

  BTW, if you felt the need to call me an azz...why'd you do it here?..why not "on my wall"..FFS.

   

  Bottom line, whether you choose to get it or not, gear and experience is what counts, plus the ability to use the gear....whether you're a Master, TM, Legend or TL, to make the cut...not just being a Legend or TL.

  my shakey 57 was a VEM killed 30 on front 9 (8 birdies....2 bogies) and a 27 on the back 9.
