    Hi,

Got a couple of queries here.

    1)  Could someone please tell me - Where does the description of a new country club tournament show up, the one meant to be filled when starting a new tournament in your country club??

    2)  Any chance that the owner of a country club can buy credits for tournaments with a payout , but with free entry for members, so it is more rewarding and encouraging for members to take part.

    3) Is it possible for members of a club to form pool like a bank where any member can randomly contribute credits and these can be used for prizes or as a reward?? The credits being stored within the country club and showing up as a club balance, to be used only within the club.

    4) Positions such as secretary, treasurer, administrator etc being offered to club members, to increase club activity with certain positions (decided by the club owner), being given the authority to operate club funds for various reasons. A list of the type of authority being given - ( 1. Full Authority 2. Create Tournament payout only 3. Offer a new member credits only upto ___ limit. 4. Partial Authority to use credits for buying gifts for members only. etc. This system would generate membership and increase club activity tremendously, I think.

    5) When we enter a paid tournament in the country club the prize pool shows less than the total of all players entered. Like 6 credits are deducted from each entry fee paid. Is that an error or is it a fee being paid to WGT??

    Thanks

    Hi Whitearrow,

1.)  The description shows up when you view the tournament on the website.  It sits just below the picture advertising the tournament.  For example, check out this tournament that I just created   Right below the picture you see it says "DESCRIPTION IS HERE".

2.)  No, but the club owner can choose to sponsor prizes from the Pro Shop and gift those to the winners of their free tournaments.  I believe we run into legal issues with players sponsoring a tournament credit purse themselves, so until that can be sorted through (if it can) you'll have to gift prizes to the winner manually.

3.)  No.  Among other things there are legal difficulties surrounding the handling of real-money disputes between players.  We probably won't be able to do any kind of sharing or pooling of credits unfortunately.

    4.)  Same as #3.

5.) A 20% fee is paid to WGT on all pursed CC Tournaments & Ready-Go's.  This is listed in the FAQ.

    Hi,

Thanks for the info. I still cannot see the country club tournament or description on the tournament webpage. Only the ready-go and open championship etc show up. Can't see my country club tournaments under tournaments on the website. Would appreciate help. I also get a javascript error on the page with a yellow exclamation in a triangle at the left bottom of the webpage. Sometimes it says " done but with errors on page"

    thanks

The tournament description shows up in the area that I've circled red.  When you are viewing a CC tournament through the clubhouse (on the website) this is where it will be located every time.  If you are in the game client you will not see the description.

Country Club tournaments cannot be viewed in the Tournaments section of the website.  You need to go to your Country Club homepage, click on your club's name and click on the "Club Tournaments" button.  Alternatively, you can view club tournaments by clicking Country Club Tournaments under the Tournaments header in the game client itself.

As of now there are some issues when viewing CC tourneys through the clubhouse and we are working to resolve those soon.  The error you are seeing is most likely related to that.
