We are a relatively new Country Club made up of Military Veterans, their families, and loyal supporters. We are multi-national in membership and welcome all into our club. Our members range in age from 76 to 23, most of which are veterans, but many are not but they still love their country, and they support our veterans and our active duty brothers.
We have as many as 10 CC tournaments running most of the time, many of which are posted by club members. We do have a tournament director that does an outstanding job of keeping a variety of events scheduled at all times. Even though we are new, we do have our own website that is around 90% complete and very soon it will be the meeting place for all members to just hang out and chat, or to find someone to get into a game with.
Not all, but quite a few of our members use skype during game play which adds a great deal to the game and to building camaraderie. It isn't a requirement, but it does help as it is a great tool that enhances learning, and is a great tool for building lasting friendships.
We have 3 people that are co-owners of the club, but we see our job as providing for the needs and advancement of our membership. Our basic philosophy is that all members have ownership, we are just a mechanism for facilitation.
