WGT has a zero tolerance policy for the topic of religion on the forums
    Kindle2010:
Do not post anything that is, or could be construed to be

if i want a sermon i go to church, here is for golf, not god.

Oh, how brutally & deliciously ironic!  You break the very rule you state, while in the act of; UM, by the way...quoting the very rule that has been broken by the previous poster!

Everywhere is for God, as He IS everywhere!    LMAO!

And yes; I'm fully aware that I too break the rule in pointing this out.

I do so lovingly, willingly & without reservation!         :-)

He works in mysterious ways!    LOL

when I made clear that we DON'T have a par 3 course. That was my original post. Get it?

It is indeed true that we currently do not have a par 3 course.

And we won't have one when this new, for want of a better word, course is released either.  It is also going to be a selection of par 3 holes from different courses.  If there's a difference between that and what we currently have I for one fail to see it.

I agree with Dazza, WGT should have told them to stuff it.

I somehow doubt any comments containing the slightest trace of negativity are going to hang around.

We're excited to announce that Bandon Dunes is coming to WGT early next year, joining our existing championship courses as a free stroke play course.

It will launch as a 9-hole, par-3 stroke play course and you can help choose which holes are included, by voting in the Bandon Dunes survey.

For more information and link to vote, check out our blog post here.

Try to get Addington Court,in Surrey I'll help with the photo's only 1 mile away from me :) now that's tongue in cheek for ya.

It's another par 3 bore-fest. Thought this game was billed as the 'most realistic'? Par 54 for 18 isn't the norm in the real world is it?

Neither is consistently shooting below 60 (in fact below 70 mostly).....but it's happening every day on here.

I agree with Borntobesting.........this site is free, if you pay for anything THAT IS YOUR CHOICE. So anything WGT decides to do to help our virtual golf experience is a bonus.

All you people whining and chelping about "WGT sucks at this" and "I want....I want" don't deserve SH!T !

spoiled brats the lot of ya!

If WGT decided to just pull the plug and switch off one day......you lot wouldn't know what to do next!

WGT are doing it for financial remuneration only. ignoring the cash cow of paying customer's would be foolhardy.  I am not suggesting WGT are, but paying customer's have a big right to speak.  I am also sure people that do not open their own wallet's are still appreciated as WGT take a cut from their time.  Statements therefore largely non applicable IMO.

All customer's have every right.  I am sure the feedback, given sensibly is much appreciated.

As I said earlier in the thread I am firmly on the side of a par 3 course being a nice extra.  It is not a big announcement thing though - only a full course would be that.  WGT are trailing in what should happen here game wise, and if I were an investor I would be nervous in that lack of confidence / failure on the face of it.  It's for WGT on business decisions, but clealy many think a par only addition is crap.

Don't think it's quite the fourth horseman before the end of days, but would be a shame.

Well said Jim, the voice of reason. Any addition is better than no addition. I'm sure WGT would like to have lots of new full size courses too.

I'm one of those who is disappointed the company is investing the time, money and energy to photograph and develop a full course but is instead giving us only a par 3 course for all the investment. It may make a lot of sense to investors, however, if WGT demonstrated to them that the current par 3 course is the most profitable course here.

If so many players are focused on the hopes of holes-in-one, using the par 3 course for putting practice with the new mulligan feature, etc. that course may well be the most profitable one here. That would justify the addition of another par 3 course before another full one.As end users we'll never know.

My hope is that they have a longer range business plan that calls for photographing more than just par 3s while they are at Bandon. Once the par 3 course is in play they could begin programming a full course there.

I'm much more concerned about WGTs lack of integrity and failure to get involved on behalf of its customers with regards to third party vendors. Let's keep this thread focused on Bandon, though, and save that discussion for other threads.
