     It's another par 3 bore-fest.

And how many par 3 courses do we have? Of course this new course won't be ideal but any addition is an improvement.

Firstly, can I say Ms. C that I'm indeed honoured you decided to pluck me out  from all of the previous comments posted.

    An improvement on what btw?

Pebble Beach being upgraded to a full course, now that's an improvement.

We already have a Par 3 course -  released a while back now - surprised you haven't noticed.  Aware it's the best of the various courses and you couldn't play it at once in real life - much the same as they seem to be doing here: Picking the par 3's from 5 different courses.

Again they've let others dictate the terms of usage. Keep it as realistic (WGT's words not mine) as possible and if those in charge at the places where WGT make an offer won't accept 'all or nothing' - move on to another course.

As stated by many others I'd rather see WGT's time & resources being aimed at ANY new real life 18 hole course.

If anyone wants to play an 'eclectic' round on here, be it par 3/9 holes/18 holes etc, WGT should maybe introduce the option to create your own 'My favourite 9/18' (Hey WGT introduce THAT  into the pro shop.. kaaaachingggg!) from all the available courses, after all other golf simulations have managed to do so.

Bottom line is it's a kop out for whatever reason.... bit like ordering the finest steak in town only to be told it's spam or nowt.

    :O)

    No we don't. What we have is a Best-Of, an amalgam, a mixture, a unity, a fusion, a blend, an incorporation, a mingling, a selection, a mélange, a pot pourri, a hotch-potch, a conglomerate, a jumble, a mish-mash, a pastiche, an assortment, a farrago or even a gallimaufry. But we don't have a COURSE.

Nobody said that this is the only course we are going to get, or even that it will be the next one. I'm just a bit surprised that people that seemed happy enough yesterday are suddenly aggrieved by the addition of an extra amenity.

What really gets me is that some of the people that are doing the most complaining about getting this course are some one the same ones that have been saying give us any HD course. You just can't please some people

Hey, any new course has to be welcomed. Just as long as it comes with a new 18 (non tru golf) course as well.

With all the negative press about the new par 3 course, WGT may pull the plug on it like they did the Tru-Golf courses.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's something new and isn't going to happen for six or seven months. Let's give it a chance.

Some of you remind me of that AT&T commercial where that little girl says,

"We want more, we want more, you really like it, we want more." lol!

I agree Richard. All the complaining in the forum gets a bit old. If the choice is a par three course or nothing then I'll gladly take the par 3 course. To think a few years back we had only one course to play, seems like peeps are never satisfied. I'm sure wgt would have rather done a full stroke course, but it sounds like Bandon dunes only wanted to do a par 3 course at this time. So it was probably a  par 3 course or nothing, and anything is better than nothing. And there is always the possibility of getting a full 18 hole course down the road. But it probably would not matter, they would still want more and more more. No matter what wgt do it's 99 % complaints here. People spend more time complaining than they actually play, why they even stay on wgt is beyond me if they hate it so much.

Back to type as per - selecting the line that suits your POV.

Did you miss this bit? ....

So what you are saying is that this proposed 'new course' that you are all for isn't  a course either?

    Meh....
