Am considering upgrading/downgrading my 3w from Ping G20 to one of the TM for the sole purpose of getting a little more forgiveness (2.5 dots to 4.5 dots).

    Level 30 R11 227 yards, 3.5 Prec, 4.5 forg (395 credits)

    level 41 R11s 230 yards, 3.5 Prec, 4.5 forg (695 credits)

Both have same meter speed so am I paying another 300 credits for 3 more yards average? Anyone use either or both of these and can give me some feedback.

Best thing I ever did for my game was to change my G20 driver for the R1 driver, increased forgiveness helped me a lot so am thinking along the same lines for the 3 wood.

I have been thinking about doing the same, getting rid of the g20 lvl 58 3wood, and getting the lvl 41 r11s, if I miss the ding on the g20 , I will be in the rough 90% of the shots.

having the same problem with the g20 driver, should have gone for the r1 lvl48

at L85,  I would suggest looking at some higher leveled 3 woods.

In the TM line here, the R11 driver isn't as good as the R11s driver which isn't as good as the R1. It works the same way with the 3Ws. That R11s might only be 3 yards different in the specs but I think you'll find much more than that in play. I did.  :-)

Since you are Tour Pro and at L85, this is what I suggest based upon my experiences with each club, plus a friend's experiences.

I have owned the L30 R11. the L41 R11s, and now the L81 G20 (3 Woods). Of them, the L41 R11s is my absolute favorite, hands down. Accurate, and a full shot with fbs will sit a good amount of the time, more so than the other clubs IME. A friend upgraded from the L30 R11 to the L58 G20 and liked the extra distance. At sub-Legend tiers, the distance is not needed as much as the accuracy and bite IMO. And during a free rental weekend, he rented the L41 R11s, and then bought it the following day.

I am currently Legend, and need the extra distance, so I bought the L81 G20. Depending on the course, I might load out with either the L81 G20 or the L41 R11s. The L81 G20 will get loaded because I have no idea what the wind will do (St Andrews is a great example), or a par 3 might include a ~240yd drive (Merion, RSG), CCC and BPB will almost always have me going back to my L41 R11s, simply because I can trust it.

Before hitting Legend, the extra distance the upper level 3 Woods could afford you can also bite you. If I could have my R11s with even 8yds more distance, I would take that and happily do my time in getting to L95. I feel like I have downgraded going from a L41 R11s to a L81 G20.

The rest of your clubs are great! IMO, the L41 R11s would be perfect. Pairs very well with the R1 Driver (which was my previous driver). The L79 Rocketbladez irons might be a nice addition, if the meter is okay for you. Learn the punches with those and your Clevelands, covered.

I'd suggest giving up the Blitz/ CTTH games for a while and then you'll soon move up to the Master tier. With the change in tee positions you'll have a better idea on what distances you need and what clubs.

You might aswell ditch the 3wood and get a 4th wedge with all that sand in the bag, you won't need the 3w at all.

Useless response. I'm asking for feedback to compare the TM 3W's not some unsolicited advice on what types of games to play or how to move up to Master.

FYI I rarely play blitz games, spend most of my time here in alt shot games. If I do play blitz it's just to keep my days playing streak alive.
