  Just get the best 3WD available to ya, is that simple enough. the R11s at any level  is gonna piss over any thing else u can buy.

  Not exactly useless. I believe what TH was trying to convey was that NOT having a 3 wood and using that spot for a 4th wedge is a little more practical. The idea is that you may use that 3W once or twice in a round but that extra wedge adds 5 shots to the part of one's game that really makes a difference-the short game.

  You aren't faced with such long distances off your tee that you really need more than a driver and 3 iron to get to the approaches. Considering that 4th wedge instead of a 3W is worthwhile. GL

  Both have same meter speed so am I paying another 300 credits for 3 more yards average? Anyone use either or both of these and can give me some feedback.

  Best thing I ever did for my game was to change my G20 driver for the R1 driver, increased forgiveness helped me a lot so am thinking along the same lines for the 3 wood.

  Here`s the problem . Right now , you are playing from the 2nd set of tees . Any clubs that you buy , will seem awesome . The best way that I have found to check my clubs , is to move back a tee , and play from there . So do a practice stroke play 9 hole round , from the hard tees . Those will be the next set of tees , you will be playing from , when you move up to Master / Tour Master . This will give you a better idea of what and how to upgrade , without wasting your credits or money . So try this first , before you do anything else . Hope this helps. Happy Swinging :)

  Didn't mean to come across rude in my response if I did it's just that most threads get hijacked and head off from intended topic to something unrecognizable.

  I realize that as I progress up the ladder my needs will change as far as distances go however what I find helps my game the most is the forgiveness in the clubs, hence the query for feedback on the two 3 woods that look identical except for cost. At the moment I have no desire to climb the ladder, just really enjoy the camaraderie of the alt shot game. 

  Appreciate anyone who actually took the time to read the thread and offer advice, and especially appreciate the comments from Kitty, Yankee & Lonnie who offered some insightful comments.

  I personally would drop a half-dot or dot of precision to gain a half-dot or dot of forgiveness.

  Let me throw another club into the ring: lvl 47 Rapture 3WD. Same distance, lower price (by 10 crs), 4 dots forgiveness, slower meter, however "only" med/high trajectory.

  And, keep the G20s for the next tier!
