    Thank you all.

MB - It's not a matter of recharging batteries this time. I've done the "recharge" thing before.

The issues I have are for a different thread and time.  Won't do any good to express them anyway. From the top man in the organization on down no one cares and that is exactly what they have taught every new employee that has come to these forums, current employees included.

Six years....Amazing. I just heard of this a little more than 6 months ago and at times feel burned out and disillusioned. If you can hang in that long....guess I can chill n hang in there as well!!  Have fun on the links!!

6 years?! You'd think they'd given you time off for good behaviour ;-)

Congrats on your milestone, sir! I have a ton of respect for the years and the sanity you bring to the forums. I wish you fall in love with the game once again, after all, do we really need to like what the company is doing in order to just have fun?

That's some achievement, 6 years. When I first found this game it was also only CTTH and played few times then left, only to find the game a couple of years later and have played since. Yes there are problems, but the positives far outweigh the negatives IMO. I am far from being great a this game but have the philosophy purely to enjoy each round and have some laughs playing with friends - this in itself offsets every WGT strange moment.

You are one of the players that commands my total respect for your objective posts and without people like you, the community loses an asset - and this is why this game excels, where the community shares information so everyone can enjoy the game more.

Many would argue, why should it be the community that has to do this and not the company, and I tend to agree but I have seen signs of improvement and changing a companies inner working habits is a slow process, and  needs to come from the top. WGT's weakness has long been the lack of communication, especially on its vision. It is all well and good producing new equipment but without new features (that customers want), courses etc. and fixing existing problems I fear many of the "old hands" will slowly fade away. This surely is a slow death by suicide, as EVERY company should try and keep its existing customers and at the same time, lure new loyal customers to continue its growth and to prosper.

I hope one of the mods reads your post and contacts you directly to discuss your issues and I seriously hope you continue to play and be part of this community.

I know you said no break, but they can do wonders and set yourself NO expectations of what you want to achieve, and this can be a simple as having a A/S with a friend and having a laugh to see who leaves who in the worst possible spot (highly likely if I am the partner lol). The key is to just enjoy, regardless if you shoot a 60 or 100, after all does it make any difference? It is just a game we play for fun, or it should be!

    srellim234,

Congrats on the milestone ! I've always enjoyed your contributions to the forums as you appear to be one of the more "level headed" members here. Hope to have the pleasure of a game sometime.

    Doc :)

Congrats on six years. At times I am sure we have all felt the frustrations that this game can bring, but time and time again it is the people that keep you coming back for more.

    Here is to another six!

    Cheers,
