Just a hello, any help would be apprecieated.  Can't seem to get below bogey, occasional par.

Welcome. You're doing fine, just keep practicing and make notes on what works.

    Welcome!

You are using the EZ SWING clubs which are easy to play but very imprecise.

From the Game Client, you can change to the other free set of "Starter" clubs - be sure to improve!

Furtheron, the club proposals for the individual shots can be misleading. Especially "Chip" and "Pitch" need to be double checked every time.

Third, your posts may be moderated - don't get impatient if they appear with a delay.

    Have fun!

Here is a couple of links to forums threads that should help you.  Also great advice on getting rid of the ez swing equipment.

This game is alot harder than EA's Tiger Woods. Very frustrating! Can I switch to a 3 click mode? Every shot is either way short or way long. No way to judge fron the swing meter how far you are going to hit. Also, on the greens it gives you left or right slope but no up or down. Help or I will claim POS game and quit.

You're right.....this game is lots harder than TW, but it's also VASTLY superior. Search the forums for tips on playing WGT. There's a wealth of info to be found. It takes a month or two to even begin to figure out how to play. I assure you, if you make the effort to learn to play you'll find it well worth your time. It can be very frustrating, but stick with it.......WGT really is a GREAT golf sim.

Have you read through the FAQ's or watched the video tutorials?

There is also putting guides as well.

Yes it does...look in the box...8 with arrow pointing up means from your ball postion to that spot is 8 inches differences

Do as you wish, but reading about how to play the game would be advised.

Hang in there.  Just as golf goes in the real world, WGT and the virtual game go as well.  Golf is just simply NOT an easy game to play.  It takes a lot of practice and patience.  Just relax and figure out what works, it will come to you in time.  And you might just find that you will become addicted to the game as many of us here have.  And as other players have pointed out to you, there are a wealth of great players here that are very willing to help you out, me included. Just one more thing, DON'T GIVE UP!  Once you start to figure things out you will have a lot of fun here. Good luck to you!

    Vic (BuddhaDharma).
