It seems that very few upper level players use the level 86+ ATVs. I see mostly the level 76+ CG16s. I have been trying the level 87 ATV 60°, it does not seem much different from the level 29 CG16s 60°. The thing pulling me towards the ATVs is the 64° does 50 yards, this seems very useful since i have trouble with the shorter shots and of course the slightly slower meter. I think my biggest flaw is the short bunker shots. Credits are not a problem, I am ready to upgrade, so any input would be of great value to me.

      Thanks for all your help

The HL Cleve 64 punches at 50 and v accurately. As a middling Legend I love the meter speed of the ATVs and for plain vanilla approaches they are superb.  Comes to chipping, punching, flops and pitching and it's Cleve's everyday....try stopping an ATV as powerfully from 8 yards tourney green and 8 down with a chip and every time....................The yardages I have also compliment my iron's well.................

The ATVs are good but the Cleves are better IMHO! Not to say that some very top player's do not use the ATVs though:)

Why would you even try? That's a flop shot every time.

"Ways cat skin"...........I try it because it works and I find it the best chance of putting the ball in the hole sometimes, not always but sometimes! The OP wants opinion's on his purchase, not discussion's on who's baked beanz taste better...Get with it Courtney:)

    A few reasons I use the ATVs over the Clevelands;

I have always preferred the 100,75 & 50 distance set up over the 100,80, 60.

I have always felt the 50 yard wedge is a more versatile club than the 60 yard on the shorter distances around the green.

I play approaches with minimum spin. I try to bounce the ball short and roll it to the hole on release, this is easier with the ATVs.

Less spin on the ATVs means that playing top spin can get you that extra yard or two needed on some shots. I'd rather hit in a wedge with full top than go down on the power with a longer club.

Lastly I just find the distance control on them a lot easier to manage than with the Clevelands.

I had two Clevelands and changed to ATVs. Under most conditions (for me, at least) Clevelands have too much spin.

I also really like the 50 yard range on the 64.

I differ from most people in one respect: distance control. I almost never use chip or pitch because I want a high ratio of carry to roll (except on most drives). Full, punch, and flop are for me.

It's all personal preference, of course.

l Have the 39+ ATV, 50 yds  Nice Wedge For Variation of shots Close To and around the Green Suits Me and gets me Closer, as lm not a  1, putt  Putter very oftened. saves me more Pars Than my Previous  longer wedge, l  did not get so close to the hole and bogeyed more,  costs about 450 Credits.  not for every one but if you struggle a bit like me around greens this wedge will help

I can't find anything worthwhile to buy at the moment too...been looking at those ATV wedges a few times but could never convince myself to get them, since I finally got used to the Cleve's and their punches (84, 68 and 50yrds), which are awesome.

Just turned lvl 89...58.200 xp to go until I can finally get those tasty R11 Irons :/

Back to the ATV's.. I don't see any real advantage, except the little better forgiveness and maybe little slower meter, though CG's meter is rather easy to hit (imo).

US Open is coming up, maybe we'll get another free rental weekend, I'll try the ATV's then, kinda missed all previous free rentals..lol decided to rent the lvl 83 G20 Irons out of boredom for 405cr and found them craaaaap.

Pull the other one...I saw you at -20 on a monthly 18 hole at Cabo. Brilliant round and I'm only slightly jealous.
