  While checking my flash player , and clearing files , I noticed 2 sets of files for WGT. One file says media 5 wgt , and the other says secure wgt .com . Do I need to keep both of these files or can I delete them ? Also have been having problems with meter lately . I use maxthon 4 , and all of a sudden the swing meter wants to act up . Keep getting spikes , all through out the game . Its not random anymore . Thanks for any help that you can provide . Happy Swinging. :-)

  I usually just clear all , any that the game and wgt requires are added automatically again anyways and does away with any corrupt files ;-)

  Still having problems since this file showed up . Have deleted it , but it comes back . Tried blocking it from storing information , but keep getting repeated requests. Ive contacted member services about , they say they dont know what it is , and have turned it over to the techs . Since ti started , Im getting constant meter spikes , and meter freezes , and stutters . Also keep having to reset game options . Is any one else having this problem , or even getting this file ?

  there is really not much u can do ,anytime go on the WGT site it automatically picks it up especially when your playing the game .Its more like streaming media .Best suggestion clear it out everytime when u load up the site .

  i`m using maxthon3...i`m getting some of the same symptoms....how do i clean it out.....and also...when viewing the free videos i watch the video and at the top of the player box it says clai???/(i can only see those letters).....how do i claim the credits....it doesn`t pay them ....

  Just checked mine also. I use Maxthon 4 but only have the media 5 wgt file which I always keep ( don't ask me why...)  Can't ever remember having the secure wgt .com file you mention.

  My meter on the whole is fairly smooth with the odd stutter from time to time, not anywhere as bad as you describe. I wouldn't think there's any harm in deleting it but I guess it's your decision Lonnie. Sorry I can't be more help....

  That's the file WGT stores data on your computer in. Not only should you leave it alone, it should be set to allow storage. Mine is set to 100kb. Right click in the Play Now box, select settings and move the slider accordingly. That is not going to affect your meter but it will slow the load times down as those deleted files have to be replaced every time you play.

  Maybe your loads are causing the problem? Trying to play while there's data being moved could cause a problem. Ironically, holding the swing for several counts helps this but then you get called a cheat by a few clowns.   LOL

  I'm using IE and don't see the secure wgt.com file in my Flash player. Might be due to your browser.

  I don't see it in CD either. Was thinking this might be part of using the secure servers that come with the browser. IDK if Max uses them but CD does if you let them.
