    KennyPerry:

I play from the pro tees now and have never hit a par 5 with a single drive.

I can only reach ONE of the par 5 marion courses in two and that is with a strong tail wind.

That's the same for us all.

Thank you for the kind post.

It is not until you FINISH the round that you can tell your tier.

After posting my round I saw it did post in the Tour Pro tier.

I feel it is a software error that sent me an e-mail stating I had posted no score.

The e-mail they sent should have stated any current tournament I'm in will be finished at the previous tier.

Sorry for the drama.  I was REALLY upset yesterday.

It was like posting the lowest score in the US Open as an amateur and then go to the club house, find a note on my locker that states...  "welcome to the PGA Tour" and my prior accomplishment is dropped.

The 'Tour Pro' tier is ON the same t-box as the Master tier.

I haven't been hitting from the ladies tees for some time now...

    Thanks.

The 'Tour Pro' tier is ON the same t-box as the Master tier.
Perhaps this may be the case in the Nation Merion Challenge, but not usually.

    Rule of thumb:

    - Promotion to a new main term (Pro, Master, Legend) means a move to a further tee box,

    - Promotion to the "Tour" preposition means faster greens.

I don't have memory of the first tiers any more, and as an exception, the move to Legend has longer tees and faster greens as a consequence.

Its as follows; Hack , Amateur / Pro, Tour Pro,/ Master, Tour Master,/ Legend, Tour Legend . This is the order of tier advancement . You are not officially allowed to start crying , until you reach the parking lot . Play well , and have fun , and congrats on the move up .Happy Swinging :-)

    KennyPerry,

You did get to play your final round from the Tour Pro tees as that was the tier from which you entered the tourney.  But now that you're a Master, any future ranked rounds will be from the (2nd hardest) Master's tees.  You'll be on these through Tour Master and move to the tips when you make Legend.

Also, doing well in tournaments does accelerate the rate at which you advance tiers.

    Good Luck

    Excuse me:

What is this way? Tees or greens?

(I still know the sequence of tiers)

As I have always understood it, it is as follows(hopefully more clear):

    Hack/Amateur - Easy tees

    Pro/Tour Pro - medium tees

    Master/Tour Master - hard tees

Legend/Tour Legend - Champ tees or the tips (or parking lot as they are so affectionately called here)

    With these greens as follows:

    hack- slow

    amateur - standard

    Pro - fast

Tour Pro/ Master - Very fast

Tour Master - the 1st vesion of Tourney greens (supposedly a slower than the second version but faster than very fast ::shrugs shoulders::

Legend - the 2nd version of Tourney greens  (apparently faster than the 1st version, but slower than champ

    Tour Legend - Championship

However for some of the RGs and weekly and monthly these can be altered like the Merion F9 RG open to all tiers which has Very Fast greens

I could be horribly wrong with all these, but as I recall my WGT career progression, this is how it went for me

Both Alosso and jsweetcr are of course totally correct.

Only a small addition to what jsweetcr wrote. From what I remember, when you play a tiered RG, everyone plays from the same tees (whichever WGT sets, legends can have any tees, from hack to our own) and with the same green speed (again, WGT's decision, which one). As for the open RGs, everyone plays on the same green speeds (set by WGT), but from their own tees (set by their tier).

It no longer matters now.  It would appear whoever is doing support at WGT was offended and failed to understand both my complaint as well as my question.

So they told me what I have now figured out.  They also deleted my account.

I just got this in my e-mail and KennyPerry account has been deleted.

    Fair well folks.

Congrats to the 2nd place person on Tour Pro.  I guess this means you now are the winner.

From my e-mail today at 2:54PM:

    Dear KennyPerry,

We are very aware of what has happened. You got moved up a tier. That does not stop you from completing any tournaments you have entered. It is an achievement and not a punishment. Your account has been deleted as requested.
