  Beg to differ, PT. Under 61 is the number.  I was at 61.02 back when before a 28 at SA got me Legend. :-)

  My mistake, i should have remembered being at 61. 5 for ages.

  Yes it does.  50 ranked rounds with an average of 61 and become a legend.

  500 ranked rounds and an average at 60 and become a tour legend.

  61 or less doesn't always apply.
  
  With some good scores in Ready-Go's and an occasional MP win against a legend, you get promoted earlier and without a 61.00.

  Hi all,

  struggeling a little bit with many posts in various forums reg. how to reach tour legend level.

  Why?

  Reached already an score avg. of 58,85 having played 887 ranked rounds + earned money in various tournaments......

  But until now - tour legend status still not reached.

  I guess, as a legend you have to play at least 500 ranked rounds as legend + score average <60.

  Any "official" confirmation would be highly appreciated by me.

  i have 62avg score and i play 3 days stroke games to be legend and the score dont wanna go down from 62 and i make good scores -6 -7 -8 can someone help me

  So to make sure I'm reading this correctly, you are asking for tips on how to sandbag?

  No, he's asking why his score does not go down.

  -6, -7, -8 if for 9 holes should drop your average quickly, if over 18 holesit's anywhere form 62 to 64, and won't affect your average.

   

  Edit:

  Checked Thetigars profile, he's shooting -6 and -8's on best of par 5 9 holer's...those (if counted) would raise a players average...hence why WGT does not average in that course (or the par 3 course)

  To be precise, the average must be <60.000000001, i.e. 60.000 or lower.
