Stupid Greens

  Is it only me or does anyone else get REALLY annoyed at some of the stupid slopes on the greens?  It seems that unless you get your approach with 3ft of the hole there is almost always a ridiculous sideways slope that makes making a putt more of guesswork than skill.

   

  Unless I am missing something obvious for judging slopes, I think it ruins the game a little.

  Sarge, you scored a 32 today, I don't think you've much to worry about.

  That's where experience and knowledge come into play.
  
  Every hole has its different 'sweet spots' where you'll have an way easier flat or uphill putt than from other positions on that particilar hole.

  
  Memory and experience are key to playing consistently good.

  well, you have some point here. i've experienced similar problems. it was showing no downhill or uphill, just straight lie, i dinged a roll to the hole from 13 ft, it was running pretty gr8 and on the last 1 ft it went to the left. there was a lost birdie...

  also interchangeable lies are stupid. 23 ft from hole, 5 ft uphill right, 7 ft uphill left, 7 ft downhill right and the last 4 ft biiiig time uphill right. how the */#$ am i supposed to aim that one?!!

  in my experience if u cant hit it close try to keep directly under the hole for the easier up hill putt
