Final Match: SaraBaras vs ColumbusStorm

Very good match with lots of "drama' and congratulations to SaraBaras for the win on the 1st extra hole. I had a some trouble understanding her spanish, but Sara was a very gracious competitor and enjoyable to play with.

Sara took the lead on #11 with a long birdie putt, while I was playing in the rough. I even the match with a chip and putt par on #15, while Sara was having problems in the rough. Sara got her lead back #16 making a ~10ft birdie putt. #18 was very long, a dinged driver and dinged 3w got me within 56yards of the hole and I made a 12ft putt for par to send the match into extra holes. On the extra hole, I lipped out a 13ft bird putt and Sara made a 9ft bird putt for the win.

This was lots of fun and thank you to WGTdbloshoe for running this tournament and hoping they will continue.

WGTdbloshoe - sign me up for the next one.

Recommendation: After playing one of these starter club/ball matches, remember to switch back to your regular clubs/ball.

After playing Merion B9 with starters, thought I would try the Merion B9 Ready-Go, and there I am on the tee with with my starter driver...oh crap. Sad thing is, that's not the 1st time I've made that mistake.

Played it out just for fun and shot a 39.

LMBO...did the same thing after our match at BPB 2nd round cr tourney...pulled off a 38?...with a few missed putts, but did have a chance at par on 15...lol!

LOL...I used to work across from Intel at 880 and San Tomas...we'd grab an ice chest and small weber, climb up to the roof of our building and have a 4th of July party as Great America would light them off...some of the best seats in da house!
