The last 8 or 10 tournaments I have played I shot around 70 to 76 or so. But my avg score still keeps dropping. Down to 62.88 now. There is no way in hell that I am a 62 golfer. Probably more of a 67 or 68. Why does my avg keep dropping even when I have a bad round.

You are saturated ?......bad scoring will just knock worse ones out. ----> Search for a more in-depth explanation.

    Friend invite sent.

check out the player tiers in our club and friend invite them, or all tiers for that matter.

Most will accept and plenty to play with.

Hi, just a quick note on saturation at your level:

At this point as tour master only your best 50 rounds are averaged.  You can drop your avg by playing a round that is better (lower) than any of your top 50.  But any round that is higher will not be counted towards your average, so you can only improve your avg... until you reach a threshold (I believe 61) where you advance to the next tier.

Check back to see how many ranked 9 hole 30's 31's 32's you have as tour master and see if you're close to 50... these have all been doubled and count toward current avg. and can only be displaced by a better score.   -Keith

I agree to all the information given, but a lot of it doesn't apply here.

Doc has had about 130 rounds at his current TM tier, thus should be long saturated. Unfortunately, you played tournaments almost exclusively, most of them CC tourneys, hiding the course names behind the tournaments' names. Add that an unknown number of them are Par 3 tournaments, not counting to the average, no secure analysis is possible.

Disregarding five lower scores, there are still a ton of 30s to 34s.

Furtheron, since 06-11 there have been scores of 31, 32, 33, 33, 34, 34, 68 which will have an influence on the average once the Par3 scores have been excluded.

Thus, the 62 is not so unreasonable. You will be Legend sooner or later!

Thanks for the information. I used to restart tournaments a lot trying for a better score. Now I just take whatever I shoot. (most of the time lol) Noticed that my avg didn't change after a bad round and wondered why. Thanks again!!
