why can you not gift your old equipment?

  Let's just say everybody gifted their clubs down. How would this game get paid for?

  Not trying to hijack the thread because gifting of old clubs can't happen (right now - anyway) but:

  I was under the impression that you could gift a club from the Pro Shop, but that it would not appear in the recipient's 'bag' until the recipient had reached the level which qualified for that club.  I.E you could give top equipment to a low level player - but it wouldn't be useful until later.

  Am I mistaken?

  Me thinks the gifting process will be blocked if the receiver has too low a level.

  Gifting in advance - don't think so.

  i mean that could be fixed by keeping the level cap on it gifting a higher level equipment to a hack wouldnt be fair but u cant even do that from the shop so wouldnt expect to be able to do that wth old equipment but equipment they can use still seems unfair to me

  Okay understandable.  But if that's the case we should get better re-sale value on our clubs or get a good pack of balls with the re-sale. and make a tier system the more you spent on your clubs initially the better free balls you get when you resale. MAKE IT WORTH IT! IMTACO

  It has been an original question asked over and over, usually by newer players still tipsy from the ether of the words "free game".
