    Does this one count ?

    chrisironsbones:

I had the round from hell, no deviation or anything like that just the greens!!!!  It said slow greens but those were NOT SLOW they were more like 25% ROUGH.

I scored 61 but if not for those greens It would have been at least 57 to 55 due to putts braking inches from dropping.  here's a few examples:

Hole 3, 9 foot putt 3 inch down slope, nice & straight so I hit putt with 8 feet of power knowing it was slow greens, should easily reach, but NO stopped inches short.

Hole 5, 5 feet putt with 2 inch downslope, hit that with 5 feet of power (avatar movement) it also stops before dropping!

Hole 6, 10 foot putt 1 inch up slope in the  nice flat part of green, hit with 14 feet power and it stops a foot short of hole!!!!

Hole 8, 5 foot putt no slope, due to all the other putts coming short i hit with 8 foot power, stops short!!!

Hole 12, 6 foot putt 2 ins up slope, hit with 12 feet power  Stops short again

Hole 16, 11 foot putt, nice and flat, 2 inch upslope, hit with 17 feet of power, stops short!!

All the above putts just seemed to brake just before dropping in hole all of them felt like ROBBED BIRDIES because they had all been hit with plenty of power for normal slow greens , and i played a round on slow greens before starting just to see how putts reacted and scored -8 for front and -6 for back , but the virtual open greens were NOT SLOW they were SUPER SLOW!

VEM is a control factor that basically cheats some players out of the wins they deserve. This is a money grab. Remember if you lose you buy credits. The credits you lost will be spent by the other guy on gear or lost later. The increased evidence of WGT using VEM to up their profits is a sad commentary on the state of greed in the e-corporate world... It is true of all e-commerce in one way or another. Guess the solution is to raise the capital to develop a 'comparable' alternate 'on line golf game' and keep it honest. The WGT even rigs the availability of evenly matched opponents.

    Yes, yes they are.

A velvety Chianti may be accompanied by Tuscan Bread and Gorgonzola.
This one is Roqueford type but much more creamy.

The advice is to accompany it with fresh walnuts.

Play a RG is not recommended because of the Chianti' strength.

    Cheers,
    David.

The problem with this game is.

in real golf there is times where players cannot attack a pin position.

this is a problem with all golf sims, wgt is a game where any thing other than a birdie isnt good enough.

wgt  at the moment is the best golf game around ( fact)

me myself used to get annoyed but i had to realize im not as good as others at the game therefore ive stopped competing in ready go's

they are a pleasure to play but money down the drain, we all have to learn and know are own limits

take the game as a game and enjoy it, play with a smile and if things go bad then get on with it

golf is and will always be very unpredictable

    :)

Its a game people, hit the ding,it goes where you aim it(most of the time).Be half decent at putting and you can survive(which I do and not much more). These threads are getting old, especially from you chris, you've been around long enough  to know what to expect bud.Dont often poke my head out but feel as if its about time.Think its about time wgt did something to stop all he same drivel that gets spouted EVERY week.Figure out a system how to play this excellent game and stick to it and don't fkn moan so much people. Its pretty much how people like me get pissed off and leave this game.

    love y'alls

    Roll tide!

    lil ol me
