    JimbeauC:
hat it's going to pay for itself, as with it in the bag, the G13D balls are working for me again

    Pleased you like it mate.

All I would add though is that a fair few will be using faster irons than you so they need to think of that as well.  Personally it's a way nice to have to back yourself, and a no brainer compared to the basic R11 (even though you can score with that).

    miserable

So what have I learnt from this arduous task that is not yet over.

    1. I move the aim marker without reversing or zooming.

    2. I don't use the mouse scroll anymore for club selection - too inaccurate and time wasting

    3. Putting is everything - on the green u have a chance of birdie or par

    4. My statistics are ludicrous, anyone would think I am a good player with a best 9 hole of 20 and 18 hole of 45

    5.Have greater respect for a small side wind, 2 - 3 mph can mean 6 - 7 yards offline on a 5 iron shot

    6. I pull most of my tee shots on the long par 3's, early ding

    7. Holding the backswing for 2 to 3 seconds with starter balls does give more dinged shots, just doing it is the hard part.

    8. Holes in one are pure luck

    9. The last 30,000 will be the hardest of my virtual life

    Martin

edit - I can up and in from almost any position around the green including bunkers

    Lucky I can putt

    I love this hole

    more misery

DAMN Martin thats closer than Ive got at #16

Let me add Martin if you please

So afraid to swing late at 13 that Im always swinging too early and bunkering

the meter is riggged to speed up on #6, #7, and #13...its true, its true

They need to trim the trees at #1 cause I fn hate them...no other reason

on #12 why doesnt the ball ever hit the side of the rock that bounces ON THE GREEN??!!

#18 plus starter ball equals bogey 60% of the time

there are many of the par 3s that are impossible to HIO with the starter ball without slam dunking them

If I do get a hole in one it will be at #9  with a long right to left rollout

I have put at least 100 balls in the drink at #6, along with the craziest ricochets off the wood wall ever seen

I also can get up and down from anywhere on the course with only one wedge in the bag

and last of all, the starter ball is rigged to never HIO, or hole out long putts,

If I had a graph of ball trails on greens Ive played this month with a red trail, all you would see is red greens and a 6 inch  green circle with the hole in the middle

    its true, its true

Im in the teens, and have hit the wall

    Joe

can't dispute anything you say Joe,

I have never felt "ahead" of the game, always chasing, so I guess just keep racking up 4000 plus per day and it will happen.

    I have holed a 61 footer and several 30 - 40 footers

164 ranked rounds so far this month.

EDIT: a week on Wednesday is the 31st, so I am defo buying on or before then as I suspect there may be maintenance on that day, and you never know what might happen.

Joe, just regard this as our own little Tour de France, you can finish it, as I will finish it, and Jim has already finished it, the last stage is always an easy one.

    OK Quiz time:

I played yesterday from 10 am to 5 pm - how times did I hear chimes from my wall clock - I mean how many chimes did I hear in total

    And Challenge time:

See how few feet of putt you get to do for 18 holes, the lowest number wins, mine so far is 46 .94 feet

    closest yet

I'm betting you don't know because the dings and the chimes began sounding alike about 3 hours in.  In fact, I'll bet your clicker finger twitches every time you hear those chimes now. Maybe you could even blame a few misclicks on them. LOL   :-D
