I was just playing a round and went to shoot..all of a sudden it pops up purchasing balls on the screen where it normally says last ball of this type.

So I've been saving credits for some good balls and it auto spends my credits.  Never had this happen before.. is this a new feature? Is this new because I've never ever bought balls while on the actual game screen playing in the middle of a swing...

I'm not too thrilled about this and don't know if writing support will get me anywhere.

Also it did not ask me to confirm anything at all.  just boom purchasing new balls and then my credits were gone lol. When I go to buy balls it makes me confirm the price.

It doesn't, you have to click 'yes' o 'purchase now' if remember right ?

    (I don't look, just click)  :-))

Occasionally you get the 'oops something went wrong' pop up, but 98% of time the balls will be in bag anyway

No its not new and actually I find it to be a good feature. Its good because it gives one a chance to get the same ball they were using without having to be forced to go to starter balls when you run out in the middle of a round.

It clearly reads what ball you are getting when you choose to buy them that way so no confirmation is needed.

But in your case it is a problem.

Yes as stated I was in the middle of a swing and it all happened rather fast.  My fault for not closing the last ball box. I agree it's a great feature Because running out and using starters was not fun.

It might if you don't close that box. All it takes is an errant click and jiggly didn't close it. When I move the pointer to swing it goes up and I bring it back down to wait for the movement and it happens to be near where that box would be.  :-)

Not necessarily a good feature. Every now and then they give away one complimentary ball during certain events (WGT baseball/ Lexus ball etc etc) and if you actually use the ball in a game, the big BEARTRAP comes out as it's your 'last ball of this type' (since they only give out ONE) and if you're not careful, you'd end up accidentally clicking on the yes button instead of closing that little box.

Mind you, the special event balls usually don't come cheap to a sleeve, even slightly pricier than the regular ones with similar specs minus the special markings. Very clever strategy indeed.

I had that happen as well.  I ignored the "last ball" dialog and took the swing.  When I clicked the mouse to hit the ball, The message came up telling me the balls were equipped.  I normally purchase the balls when I get that message, but wanted to upgrade.  I learned the hard way to make sure you either purchase the balls or close the dialog box before taking the swing.

    Lesson learned.
