Thanks skinner......appreciate the suggestions,.....I replaced my hybrid with another wedge...just to get another wedge in the bag,...when I  accumulate  enough credits...I'll sell the hybrid and buy a Cleveland wedge....I presently own the 100 yarder and the 6o yarder.... maybe  I'll ' look to get one  in between!.......I once had the R11 irons..couldn't control the meter!!.

Frustrated right now,...but after I take a short hiatus from the game , I;ll give it another try! Like I stated...it;s the PUTTING that's giving me fits!!  Missing 4-6 footers ....leaving many on the lip...others lipping out    yada yada yada!!  Not fun when I can;t manage a 2 under par for 9 holes.....but I;ll be back!!!  Thanks again mate!!    Jack

One more thing mate...I lm at level 95....and my irons are g20 "high trajectory"   ( L-81)....which I'm quite comfortable with them!    Let me add that ....all is not the fault of WGT,...my finger press often times has my shots way off line......and  THAT is ....MY BAD!!! LOL

i would get rid of those irons if i were you .. from tees further back you'll need high trajectory irons that can stop the ball quicker close to the pin .. lvl 59 G20's is a good place to start .. by lvl 79, pick up the Bladez .. it's the 2nd best iron set after the R11's and has a trajectory even higher than any G20 set .. Bladez's trajectory the same as the R11's IMO .. shooting sub 30 rounds over 9 or sub 60 over 18 comes from being able to consistently plant the ball inside 3 yds from the pin, no matter the distance .. and you need high trajectory, high spin irons for that

Mate...My G20  level 81 irons ARE in fact "high trajectory",...I actually am comfortable with them,....I switched from my previously owned set which were the R9s....(medium  trajectory).......and as far as getting that close to the hole every time,...for me that's out of the question.....my timing is inconsistent.....my aim is not to play like I did when I was a Hack!!  lol lol    Tks for the input!!  UR a gentleman.....Jack

Just to back Chris up, not all "high trajectory" clubs are equal. Med, Med/high, and high are all just general guidelines, just like 3 dots on one club in a given attribute on one club doesn't equal the same 3 dots on the same attribute on another club. The g20s, the Rbladez and R11s all have high trajectory but all their trajectory's are different.  I don't have g20s but believe the rbladez and g20s are probably similar in trajectory, however i will disagree with chris and say the R11's have a much higher trajectory than both of them especially on the higher irons, IMO. Watching how high my 3 and 4 iron sail is still amazing to me, how high they sail and how soft they land, i love them.

All that being said there are other factors in choosing clubs, so the r11s may still not be right for your and the bladez might not either. controlling the meter on both of them is certainly more challenging than the g20s, I have the g20 driver and so i know the meter speed. With the right ball and enough practice you can shoot well with any of those clubs, however there are holes that you will be at an extreme disadvantage and will need to hit the absolute perfect shot to have a good birdie opp with the g20s, whereas with the R11s you may not because of their trajectory.

and no i don't work for WGT and not trying to get you to dump 3k credits on irons, just giving my experience. I have far more birdie opps and eagle opps with the r11s in my bag than i did with the rbladez and i think those are better than the g20s

lol .. sorry bud .. that was actually meant for "pukiebear" .. got mixed up with the quotes

ok, so you have the upper lvl G20's .. well, all can guarantee you is that the Bladez stand head & shoulders above any G20 set in terms of performance .. i've played with both G20 sets up to Legend at which time i upgraded to the Burner 2.0 irons, which were replaced with the RBladez .. Bladez are basically Burners with slightly slower meter.

I still have the Bladez in my inventory and play them from time to time .. love those irons cause they're so much better in accuracy & stopping power than the G20's .. longer also .. IMO the only place where the R11's outperform the Bladez are with the 3&4 irons .. trade off with the Bladez are that they are less forgiving than the G20's and has mtr speed slightly faster than that of the G20's .. pros & cons .. but the pros on the Bladez so outmatch the cons that, dollar for dollar, i reckon it to be the best set available at WGT ..

takes some time getting used to, but once u do, i bet your scores come down

The reason I chose the lvl 63 Taylor Made's over the g20s was because they were actually rated 3.5 in spin as compared with 3 for the g20s.  I was not taking trajectory into consideration.  But, even with 3.5 spin, I've noticed that the ball is not stopping where I expect it to, even when I put max spin on it.  If it will really make that much difference, I'll give it a try, but I hate to spend that much on irons if the impact is not that noticeable.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

It's those boogie bears and hoot goblins. They get us all, some worse than others. I just stay hidden now because they have me targeted for extinction.

yes, ur problem with those are the medium trajectory .. i made a similar mistake by getting the lvl68 RBallz irons .. same thing, med trajectory .. i dumped them immediately and went back to the lvl59 G20's .. the difference in stopping power is very noticeable .. we live and learn .. high trajectory is where it's at
