I loved playing the Best of Par 5 Holes, but I do have two minor complaints. For one, to win the Best of Par 5 Ace Master Award, one would have to make a hole-in-one on each hole. IMPOSSIBLE!!! Secondly, Hole #16 of The Olympic Club was not included.

That is all. I'll stop my complaining.

Most courses are present with two Par 5s, except OAK which has been absent in any Best-Of compilation, KIA (3x) and OLY (1x). Apparently OLY 16 was sacrificed for KIA ##2, 7 or 11 for any thinkable reason.

KIA ##2+16 and OLY ##16+17 would have been more in my favour.

I read that this course does not count towards your average (good job too) but what about total rounds, i.e. if I play 499 'normal' rounds and 1 par 5 course round will that take me to saturation point?

Yes I know that is a LONG way in the future but I'm trying to keep track of my total rounds and average so I'll know when I'm saturated.

Good catch! Icon, take note! It should have been Best of Par 3 Ace Master - which is not there.

You need 500 "normal" rounds, you can play as many Best of par X rounds, they dont count to your 500 rounds that you need to reach your saturation point.

Don´t play the best of par 5 ready go tournament, if you want to win any credits.

I shot a 75 which is 15 under par. not bad I hear you cry

    Finished in 25th position

It was against the wind on all but 2 holes.

Therefore there were 4 or maybe at a push 5 real eagle opportunities. I took one such opportunity and that was hitting a 20 foot putt. The winner shot a 67 which is 23 under par. 5 eagles and 13 pars

Its a great addition to WGT if you want to improve on your number of birdies, eagles etc but be aware that to win any money you ll have to shoot a 71/72 - 19/18 under par

Pardon me to insist, but do you have a testimony, a proof for this?

I was told the other day that the Bo3/5 do count towards the number of rounds. In that case, 1 regular (of 30/60 or less) and 499 Bo3/5 rounds would do the job.
