    S1XT0S:

Hello again TWOMINUSONE, This is just a wee update mate. I am trying out the 10.3.183.75 adobe flash version right now, and so far so good. A part of me is saying this is too good to be true, don't get your hopes up but, this is GREAT..hahaha. What a change, now I know what creamer444 means by moving as smooth as silk.

If it does'nt last then so be it, but I am going to enjoy while it does. ( who knows ). It may even be a good Flash version for chrome aswell ( I might not need to change my browser at all ).

Thank you for your help mate, talk to you later...All the best ...S1XT0S.

Delighted to hear it S1. Hopefully it lasts a while for you. If you want to keep using that version, then i would advise you to disable the automatic update on windows. The automatic update on windows could change your version you are using now without you knowing. Be sure to check it every so often though, as security updates are released every so often that may be needed.

    Hello hyena64,

I am still doing the trial and error thing. The version of flashplayer that TWOMINUSONE told me about is great, much better gameplay and a much more reliable meter. But ,as you also told me, the pepflash version installed automatically in chrome definitely does cause a lot of lag, and for some reason seems to accumulate a lot of files and cookies which it cant handle. This seems to clog up the wheels, and never ending spyware scans and cleans have to be done as a result.

PS. TWOMINUSONE never told me about that damned persistent update message..hehe.  wonder why..?   But, as things stand right now, I am getting three solid, fluid rounds without the need for a clean with the10.3 version, compared to about 4 stokes on the first hole with the pepflash version. I will still be trying a few other things out. I will keep you posted mate.

Until then..all the best mate, ..S1XT0S.

    Hello DRogers5864,

Thanks for the suggestion mate, I have that one noted down on my notebook just in case. Its good to know, that you are testing it though, and it is performing OK. So far, I am testing the flash versions right now. 10.3.183.75 is working great for at least 4 to 5, 9 hole rounds or 3, 18 hole rounds. The pepflash version that can be accessed on the browser pane at chrome://plugins is also disabled now, and seems to make a big difference as well, especially when combined with the new enabled archived flash version.

That wee constant update message is a pain in the RRs though..hahaha...I just managed to get rid of it not too long ago.

Still, that said, There are quite a few things I would like to try out next, just to see if there is a better experience with another flash version or browser, if not, then at least I'l know for sure, I already have the best one for my PC and connection.

I will keep you posted anyway mate,...All the best...S1XT0S

    Hello TWOMINUSONE,

Yeah, tell me about it. Archived downloads of flash player. Not only were there three different 10.3.183.75 versions within the downloaded zip file ( two of which being install/uninstall, and the middle one an exe file version). Only one of them ,which was the latter of the three, would allow for the, yellow, update your plugin message that appeared at every click, to be turned off.

To do that I had to right click the chrome icon, and add at the end of the target box --allow-outdated-plugins, preceded by a space, however this would not work with the first install/uninstall version, ( the administrator permission box would not appear) but it did with the next..clever me..hahaha......What a carry on that was.

Still, if I did'nt hold you in such high praise right now for the great tip, then I would surely be disgusted with that carry on you subjected me to, ( without warning ), but I'm not, in fact it was well worth it, and will hold me in good stead at some point further down the road. Keep the tips coming when you can think of any. I'm an eager listener.hehe

Talk to you later TWOMINUSONE, thanks mate,   All the best .....S1XT0S

LOL S1, i didnt realise that was going to cause you some grief. I guess you have better knowledge of a PC than me, as you seem to be getting around the stuff suggested with some ease.

With me, after i downloaded the flash version, i just clicked on 1 to install, and just got lucky with my pick. It didnt give me any grief at all, lol. Cheers mate.
