Hello TWOMINUSONE,
Yeah, tell me about it. Archived downloads of flash player. Not only were there three different 10.3.183.75 versions within the downloaded zip file ( two of which being install/uninstall, and the middle one an exe file version). Only one of them ,which was the latter of the three, would allow for the, yellow, update your plugin message that appeared at every click, to be turned off.
To do that I had to right click the chrome icon, and add at the end of the target box --allow-outdated-plugins, preceded by a space, however this would not work with the first install/uninstall version, ( the administrator permission box would not appear) but it did with the next..clever me..hahaha......What a carry on that was.
Still, if I did'nt hold you in such high praise right now for the great tip, then I would surely be disgusted with that carry on you subjected me to, ( without warning ), but I'm not, in fact it was well worth it, and will hold me in good stead at some point further down the road. Keep the tips coming when you can think of any. I'm an eager listener.hehe
Talk to you later TWOMINUSONE, thanks mate, All the best .....S1XT0S
