During fall 2011 (October/November/December 2011) and winter 2012 (January/February/March 2012) we had two very nice competitions which were called WGT Fall Tour and WGT Winter Tour.

The competition was as follow. Each month, during 3 months, there was a championship with a qualifying round and a final. The best 3 scores of each finals were qualified for a grand final (so 9 players were qualified).

These competitions happened twice in fall 2011 and winter 2012. I think it was quite exciting and many players were quite happy to play them.

Since then, nothing really exciting happened (except for the usually US Open). We are just left with the weekly, monthly tourneys and ready-goes and few tourneys for US/Canadian residents (well I don't count those Michelin and Leadbetter challenges...).

Competitions lasting over several months, like those WGT Tour, and where scores posted all the way count are interesting competitions.

Any possibility to launch a new series of such tournaments like WGT Tour ?

Well said sir. It's almost like they don't want to keep their customers, lots have left lately because of boredom and game problems. Why isn't there a virtual version of all of the majors?

Agreed Genorb. When those tournaments were 1st introduced i honestly thought it was the start of exciting times at wgt. I'd love to see something similar return and stay as a main part of the game.

Hey Fabian you were ahead of me. I wanted to post something similar about us, non eligible players who wonder what else to do than small tournaments and some fun CC tournaments.

As Fabian pointed, no Leadbeter because we can NOT win prizes, Michelin, yes interesting for the credits but still far from something to long for, like the Us Open for example.

Please give us (loyal costumers) something to motivate us while waiting for the 2014 Virtual Us Open.....will you?

Totally agree. Unlimited play tournaments for double credits are not good enough. It's frustratingly short sighted because if decent tournaments were set up with a tangible prize (for everyone) to aim for WGT would benefit more than they do now

would be cool.. could be multiple catagories..

of course ... ladies 1st tour..... ( gender proof required ) ..<<< :)

the .. REGular tour.... play.. one game a day

the ... AMP'D&wired tour ... for those who don't sleep.... 2 games a day

the ...Viagra tour .. for those over 50 but under 60 .. 3 games a week..

then the .. Geritol Tour ... for those over 60... 1 game a week .. with a schedual'd pee break ery 4 holes...

just funnin... i really do think some kind of tour would be cool ... and had like top 50 or some thing ... play a final deal.. and for all the super EGO's .. keep a posting on login page of top 10 or 20 ...like the top money earners.. more than likely will be same names on both...

hence .....reread ABOVE ^^^ (wink*) ... lol

to bad .. for i know if any kind of prize is involved ...there would be cheets in every catagory ...an this place would turn into drama city ...
