  I have to agree with  that because none of the players i know personally are running around dinging shots all day. Most i know hit bad shots when they ding because they are aimed to miss late or early. If my putts dont fall my 27s turn into 31s all day long.

  These guys are called, the boys ding from sentimental or faster ding guys, those who aim and shot using their personal feeling of perfect shot, using eyes and memory all in about 10 seconds, and leaving aside even notebooks or posts do not even remember where they ended up.

  And yes, I'm one of them.

  The mentalism leads man to try to cheat the next but forgot the reason why it does it. See the video That You upload puzzles me down, can not compete in a RG but I think I can handle it very well in an MPC.

  Who cares for cheaters or frauders, WGT should do have multiple eyes and I think that someone "still" watch scorecards, leaderbords and MP/MPC final results to isolate, exclude and delete players at their discretion, this would serve to prevent any attempt, perhaps.

  Personal thoughts.

  The importance of hitting where you intended to is of course very important. If you miss, then you need plenty of luck. The importance of hitting the "ding" is probably not huge since shots in windy conditions can be made straighter if you click before or after the line. Many, at least I, usually go for the ding because it somehow feel safer. If I'd have an assist that allowed me to reliably hit maybe "2 ticks" early, I would probably do that. If I would build a cheat program, I would make it in such a way that intentional "misses" would be possible.

  Not sure how important it is but many times i have parred 3 beth 11 royal 17 cabo and many more holes especially par 3s and have flew 5 yards or more offline in low winds with a ding  so im not sure how wgt works the dings out i just personally played these holes so many timez i know where i want to miss and same with putts.

  Yes, same here, it seems there's an algorithm in place lately on par 3's (maybe to toughen up game) no matter where you will aim, if you ding the shot the shot seems to start off 5 to 8 yards left or right of your aim point. Its happening much more frequently lately, more so on par 3's.  You cant win, at times you might miss ding on wind side to combat this happening only for the wind not to effect the shot and you still land pretty far from the pin.  it seems WGT dont want us landing within 1 or 2 yards any more. 4 to 6 is better.lol (but i'm seeing much more long putts go in as well.TY WGT)

  Funny thing in this all is that there seems some kind of concensus that ding a shot is not even that important in the game, there are a lot more things playing along in making a good shot.

  Partially I agree to that, we have to calculate what strength we want to hit the ball and in what direction, but if we gain experience through playing, i did almost 8500 ranked rounds, we get a pretty good feel about what to do. The only thing remaining is hitting the ball at the right moment, preferably on or nearby the ding, because that our most stable point of origin.

  Whats left is a putt, which still has to be made, but its much easier when the ball ends up within a few yards.

   

  Furthermore are the two most wellknown cheating programs based on the fact of a perfect ding: ones slows the meter down, the other gives you a ding every time.

   

  So my question: what do you think is the percentage of importance of a ding? And if it is not even that important, why not make it available for everyone and take the cheating programs basically out of the equasion?

   One  time i looked up and you shot 54 on oak and alot of other times i have seen your name.So my question is you know and i know you can shoot just as good as any player on wgt so what is it your looking for? Not being a douche i just want to know what your missing cause you seem to be a great player. And nice 58 on merion also.

  WGT should care about using a foreign software to get "perfect" scores, read their ruleset it says it is not allowed use any sort of foreign software.

  They announce all very low/suspecious players, so imho they should publice who they caught and exclude from wgt. Hopefully it would the other wareusers stop use the ware they have bought, cause they find out, WGT can track and ban them! 

  You have to log on to play, so no proxy or whatever keep WGT out of track you!

  On occasion i can indeed score nicely on any course, but its incidental and what bothers me far more if i do that is the fact that i have a strong feeling not even to be in control of the game, but far more of the incidental benavolence of WGT.

  Instead of the WTF shots where it goes wrong, suddenly I get WTF shots that miraculous constantly end up close to the hole. Dont know if anyone else has that feeling sometimes.

   

  But I have a few rounds under my belt, ranked and unranked and i changed a few months ago to MAX balls, which gave me the meterspeed that suited me perfectly. So yes, sometimes i can make a good score.

   

  This post is about cheating, which is probably far more spread then anyone thinks and is increasingly a subject for many to be angry about. And well, cheating is not fair, is it? So I thought up a way for WGT to equal out all those players who use a cheating program by simply offering it themselves .

  I just hope the opposite will happen and they find a way to ban cheating programs out

  I know that feeling, miss bad and almost jump in hole, then i cant stop think: Something is wrong with this game, when a perfect hit goes to hell, but a missed is perfect!

  doubt WGT will openly do anything other than what they are already doing or not doing .. $'s

  as far as selling dings are concerned, i think it would make these forums even less palatable than what they already are .. i can see all the posts saturating the forums condemning WGT even further; and they would be right too IMO .. can you imagine the animosity bred during a/s and the insults being thrown about when it becomes apparent that some one has bought their "dongs" ( this fella would be ridiculed as dong-less)

  anyway, cheats like auto-dingers or stuff slowing down the meter are for certain types only, which are:

   - punks

   - losers

   - low life scum sucking mofo's
