The winds are stronger without doubt.

I cant play by memory coz mine sucks, I write stuff down :-)

But true enough, practice , practice and them even more of it.

    WeidaDeNei:
So if it calculates to move the arrow 5 yards to the right I have no way of knowing what 5 yards is.
The grids on the green have 2 yds spacing IIRC. Thus, using "Chip" or "Pitch" settings you might at least get an impression for the approaches.

Don't forget to switch back shot and club!

My question is, how can you possibly know that your formula is "solid" if you can't prove it?

IIRC? and very good question. I set up the formula so it can have one number adjusted in the formula until it gets spot on with the club and wind. I already use it now and use the flagstick as "2 yards" . It works well. But on some shots it isn't even remotely close to where it should be.

Everyone.. thank u for the tips. So for this pitch view gig... Each grid line is 2 yards? or the entire grid? Ill have to check it out. thanks!

IIRC = if I remember correctly.

Each grid is 2 yds (or feet?) I'm sorry, still get confused with these measurements. There have been detailed explanations with pictures here.

Thank you alosso... my guess is 2 ft... 2 yards appears to be way to much. Ill work with 2 ft. I will also search the forums for what you speak of and see if i can find a broken down explanation! thanks again.

As for the person above, if his method is so good, why is his GIR so low?

Assuming you mean me (which, to be fair, I'm not sure you do), IMO the main reason for my low GIR is that I can't "ding" the meter more than about 10% of the time, most days. The meter is just too unpredictable with regard to speed and stutter. The times I do hit the ding, are most often on drives to fairway, when it usually isn't that critical to get a ding, and very short putts -- again, not usually critical to hit the ding. So most times when I do manage to hit the ding, it doesn't make much difference. If you've read my other recent posts, you might remember one following the update from the end of July, when I was fortunate to get one 18-hole round of smooth meter, and shot a 62. I believe if I could get a consistently smooth meter I'd get to Legend tier in a hurry. Right now I'm just doing the best I can with what WGT gives me.
