internett speed test

  ty for replys guys. i cant really justify buying myself a top notch computer  i only use comp for wgt and general internet browsing. ty for replys much appreciated tys.

  i just typed in speedtest at homepage andy it was the british telecom 1 i did hope this helps m8.

  I have to ask because no one else has...what broadband speed are you paying for? I pay for 12Mb DSL and I get slightly over that. If you are paying for say 10Mb you have a major gripe with your provider.

  Hey Andy, your download looks good but your upload speed seems a bit low.  Still, should be more than enough to play this crazy game.

  Mine is as of a minute ago Download at 17919.  Now for 3 teenagers all accessing the internet at any one time doing whatever teenagers do /  two adults not doing anything heavy duty all works fine. 

  Yours is half of mine and I pay for a basic ADSL (?2) service.............Greater minds than mine on this needed, but I would check with your ISP to make sure you are not getting short changed.............

  As Lonnie mentioned it can have a lot  to do with your processor since this game runs primarily on it. IMO lower internet transfer speeds wont effect the meter so much but does have effect for loading, disconnect problems and other errors. Since I upgraded mine I haven't had any of those problems. I recently within the past two weeks upgraded my motheboard, processor & video card and the game plays exceptional now for me.

  Now I really know it's me when I screw up....LOL
