Mushy01:

A good test to try is Speedtest and I pay for 60meg d/load
Tried it and good to see both it and the other one, I had already, came up with the same results. Australia is just behind the UK with this stuff generally, try many pubs without free wi-fi yet lol. My 18Mb seems run what I need fine though..teenagers Xboxing etc same time me doing this......My upload looks measly as a percentage of download in comparison, but just for pics up to Dropbox etc works fine and not heard the teens complain about game play. Guess if it works no need find out what I am missing assuming it's available here at a half sensible price.

I have no clue on what ping really means but the two tests show a huge difference? - whatever difference that is when at home.
EDIT 2 lol
Looked up ping as got wondering and using windows per below averaged 252 which apparently is OK for gaming...No complaints so will leave that one phew lol...........
Click Start, go to Run, then type in "cmd". Click OK.
A Command Prompt window will appear.
Type "ping yahoo.com" (No quotes, any website will work)
Doing this will show you how long it takes for Yahoo!'s website to respond to your computer.
Pings can be an excellent way to determine if a website is working properly or if your connection is slow.
