DocNeon:Thanks for the replies from all and yes, I think with some study (and a lot of practice) the chart will be very useful.
Be careful here. Don't trap yourself into needing that chart for every putt. Take a page out of Dazza's book (and I will vouch for this) and learn the "feel" of your putter. Use all the scales to see how the ball rolls and how short the backswing is. Higher scales for shorter putts has a benefit. Avatar moves are great reference points, that PutterPal is convenient and homemade stuff works.
The key is going to be you and how comfortable you feel getting a particular distance. You have to learn how the up and down affects putts as well as the different green speeds. That chart will help you immensely in getting that feel. Take enough putts and that feel will start to happen. GL with the tough part of this game. :-)
