Being unable to still play regular golf due to a knee injury, I decided one day in January to Google search looking for a location to play computer golf.  Was really looking for a Tiger Woods type event.  Discovered WGT, visited,  and joined immediately.  Played most days all day hoping to accumulate more experience point so I would be able to purchase better equipment.  In March I decided to broaden my experience and look for a Country Club to join.

After a brief search, I decided on Senior Citizens Country Club.  Seemed to be an active club with lots going on and a good member base.  Also  had a very professional looking SCCC web site.  So I sent in a request for admission and was accepted.

Best decision I could have made.  Enjoyed it from day one.  Have met the nicest group of guys and gals you could ever find anywhere.  We have a continual blast.  If you asked my wife, she would reply that I am totally addicted.  Probably true, I must admit.

We have our own Tournament selection continually running with a broad range of games available.  We have our own SCCC Forum for constant communication with the Club.  We also have a SCCC Skype Chat Room where you can gather to chat, exchange ideas and golf tips, arrange games, ask a question or just hang out with friends.  Of course you can play WGT golf there too.  Just leave your keyboard behind and stroll down the fairway with your friends  discussing just about anything.  If you have not done this, it is a blast.  Imagine playing WGT golf with your friends without spelling or typing.  Who would not enjoy that.  Did I say it was FREE.

Best news is  a limited number of member slot  are currently available.  Look forward to meeting you on the course.

I'm a member of Senior Citizens Country Club and I consider it the absolute best club out there.  I joined because I was unhappy with the lack of friendly, courteous players out there, and, if other women can relate, the lack of gentlemen that treat you as a worthy player.  I was also looking for a club with other women - who better to tell me how this club treated women.  As it turned out, there were very few women in the club, but I took a chance anyway.

Since joining, we have grown the female membership and I have the greatest time ever.  We have started a successful, friendly male vs. female alt shot tourney - cannot tell you how much fun we have.  I have benefited from the help of higher tiered members and have advanced to the legend tier now.  I would consider it an honor to help others.

If there are other players out there that may feel the same way I did and are looking for a club that will become their new "home", send in your request for membership.  I know you won't regret it.

UPDATE: We're starting to fill up fast as word spreads about how active and friendly we are. We've already absorbed two full WGT clubs. We currently have 45 spots left open.

After wandering around the big WGT world and trying out a couple of CC's, I came across the Senior Citizens CC. I applied to join and was very grateful that the club owner at the time,Frank aka Oldbones29 accepted me in. That was a year ago now and although there has been a change of ownership, I don't regret one day of it !!

We are a very active CC with lots going on all the time. Where do I start ?? We have a full an interesting website,an active forum, which is packed with interesting snippets from members about the game, clubs game hints, you name it, all is in there. As well as that we have a Skype chatroom with over 60 members, this is very popular and members arrange games in here,or just pass the time of day !! There is also a dedicated SCCC Facebook page, which is kept up to date by a member on a daily basis.

We have many British and European members now, as well as some from Australia and India,so whatever time of day there are club members to hit with. The season of Majors will be starting soon, which with all the other Tourneys make for a busy club.

So if you are looking for a friendly club to join ,look no further. You can be sure of a warm welcome, lots of nice friends to enjoy playing golf with and some fun competitions to join in
