Woo hoooooo ... made it round in even par. That double-bogey on the Whistler #10 hole hurt ....

More like this Shoe ... perhaps a Best of Par 5 with this set up???

Thanks for the fun ....it was a blast...

    :-)

OMG !!!!! ...just tried it and ---> TOTAL MADNESS !!! ...lol

but that was fun ...made me laugh on that 1st hole after making a ''boomrang'' putt that went around the hole by couple inches and back down ...lol

    WGTdbloshoe:

Starter ball was a request so you didn't lose a ball. Not a requirement to play the tournament.

geez ...i missed that quote ! ...i did use the starter balls and missed many clicks because of it. I could have shot better than 35 i'm sure. Oh well..... thx mister for that fun experience.

managed a 26.. this was a complete test. kinda like how the pga tour players would play their rounds. not a clear idea of the green speed. though it was real MADNESS! hardest where the 1 st and last hole

I did decent on the round except for the Whistler holes. The green speeds weren't that bad except they seemed much faster on the Whistler holes. I ended up with a +5 32 after being -2 after 3. The RSG hole was a bogey because I didn't allow enough for the 30 mph cross wind and ended up in the deep rough on the left side and my pitch rolled well past because of the 1 1/2 dots less spin on the Tour SD after using the Callaway z ball for months. It was fun to play though.

That was a heck of a lot of fun. Great idea Shoe and please do it again with the other Best of Par 3. If I knew it was going to be the shorter tees, I'd have played it with the Starter Clubs to increase the madness.

I'd like to suggest something really sick. Best of Par 5's with about the same green speed in Uneven Lies. The twist being the UL indicator box is turned off so we have to really watch our shots on landing to guage the lies ourselves. Also, playing it that way with Starter Clubs and Ball only. That would be some crazy ****.  ;)

I am glad to hear the majority of the players are enjoying this.  So just some stats, roughly 100 players have entered and only 60% have finished the full 9 holes.... Ouch!  So to all that stuck it all the way through thank you!  And to those who didn't want to finish, some constructive feedback in welcome.  Were the greens to fast or did it have to do with other conditions?

I guess the next one you sent me a link to would be to much for some folks. Now that was crazy, wind was just a ? and greens were like a parking lot. Managed a 30 but getting on the green was a feat in itself. I very much enjoyed this. I was not expecting the wind conditions at all.

    I guess I win!

    With the highest score...LOL

Those True-Golf course holes were some tricky ones on the greens.

    It was fun!

    Thanks WGTdbloshoe

I played #2 with starter clubs and ball. Managed a 34. Loved every second of it.

This is how the WGT game should be IMO. Sadistic. lol

Made just 1 mistake really when a 6 footer , which i hit for 3 went 36 feet. After a few holes i just did half and that worked out wel, though breaks were still  tough to get.

What this tourney proves however is how easy it is for WGT to screw around with the greenspeeds, though they say they never do...........yeah right......lol
