New course in October?

  I've just read this in the Play with an LPGA Pro story:

  'Here's the just-announced schedule for the 2010 LPGA Virtual Tour:

  • October - Pinehurst #8
  • November - Kiawah Island Ocean Course
  • December - Wolf Creek
  • January - championship course to be announced'

  Notice the course for October? That isn't currently available, is it? Hm...

  Furthermore: 'Start practicing on Pinehurst #8 now, and you can officially enter after October 1, at www.WGT.com.'

  However, this may put a hole in my theory: 'Format will be a combination of stroke play and skill challenges to be announced.'

  But this may mean we have a new course in January instead: '...with the top 100 players each month advancing to the championship in January, on a special course to be announced by the LPGA.'

  Do we know whether the new course in January will be stroke play or CTTH?

  Perhaps one of the courses already partially photographed and rendered???  One of the CTTH courses or (drumroll please) Pebble Beach!

  Sounds like fun, but the part about combo of stroke and skills to me means, kiawah stroke, everything else skilled.
