this been happening to me a lot lately as well......seems as soon as i get in a rg i get some really funky things going on.....never seen so many shots and putts start way off line. Really bad in no wind tournies for some reason....perfect dings missing by 8 plus yards.

maybe WGT should just give us a warning to tell us if we should attempt to miss early or late to compensate for the poor gameplay.....gives us a fighting chance

i agree with the funky things going on. had my driver change to a wedge just as i clicked to swing, my meter as of late starts, hesitates, starts, hesitates then goes like a raped ape. i'm supposed to have a slow meter. sometimes it is way too fast. a few rounds ago, clubs were all hitting shorter than they should have and not because of the wind. same game, person i was playing with said his clubs were hitting farther than normal. and i don't think that my putting is too awful that i have had an unbelievable amount of putts stop either on the lip, or 2 to 3 in. plenty of speed, dead on to the cup, no uphill and like a brick wall dead stop

I don't know whether the green speed has been turned up slightly, but I too have had more lipouts than normal recently.

But I do not blame WGT - these putts have either been hit too hard (albeit marginally) and have not been the right line - it is simple as that.  And the faster the greens, the less margin for error.

In this game we all tend to putt the ball harder than in real life - if I hit my 5 foot putts that hard in RL, i would have some long putts back when they lipout or miss.

Take a break by all means, but to think it is a farce because lipouts caused by your putting is a bit strong IMO.

You have reached the very top of this game and think you are invincible. However, golf, whether in real life or virtual, will always bring you back down to earth. That's what great about the game. It can be so frustrating but also so rewarding when you do well. Just when you think you've mastered it, the course will have the last word.

You can blame who you want, WGT, your computer, the full moon, the stars, but at the end of the day it all comes down to you. How many Championships have been lost because the ball just lipped out. The player then complains saying it should have gone in. I don't think so. That's what is exciting about golf.

Just be grateful you have got to where you are in the game. Thank WGT for your few years of pleasure on here. Take a break if it's that painful for you. You've done all you can in the game. Then come back if you start to miss it. It's a bit sad to think you have done so well and now just want to moan about the game. Why not give something back by helping other players instead of bemoaning the game that has given you so much pleasure.

Sh!t! You think you have problems!!!
After surviving 5 days of everything lipping out, for the last 3 days I have made no less than 6 putts I totally mishit, missed at least 4 drives that still hit the fairway, yeah right!!! On top of that on a par 3 trying to hit a little late I totally missed it late but it somehow managed to stay on the green leaving me a 14 ft putt with dots going in every direction, that I tried to get close and of course it went in for a birdie...
As if that isn't bad enough, I played the tourny at Kiwiah (LUV those white T's, I can see why so many people who have been here for years refuse to score well enough to move up) and I get to #9 hole -8 after missing a short putt on 8, I assumed would just go in the way things have been going why look at them! Never the less I hit my approach on 9 and it hits the flag and goes off the green, I eek out a par...
approach on 10 looks good then hits the flag and bounces off the green, so I hit the 15 yd flop and it hits the flag and rolls 45 ft away and I bogie...birdie 11 birdie 12...hit approach at 13 it hits the flag and rolls off the green...

then it hits me, I am being singled out by WGT, I'm just not that f'n good, dead center 4 flagsticks in 5 holes,it has to be, I've hit maybe 20 flags in 4 months, no one else is posting complaints about making putts or getting breaks, they're trying to make me a better player so they can make more money off of me, those a$$holes!!!

Whats that lawyers name those other guys are using, I may sue too!!!!
