Tournament idea

  Hey WGT, have you seen the response to the Continental Tournament now on going? How about sponsoring a similar tournament, but with just 2 added stipulations:

  1. Every body gets the same exact wind conditions. Meaning if hole 1 has a 10MPH head wind, EVERYBODY gets a 10MPH head wind, no exceptions. And so on for every hole.

  2. A 1 hour tee off time. Meaning, if you sign up to play, there is only a 1 hour window to play, Make sure your available at that time, this way every one is on the course at the same time, with the exact same conditions.

  Just a thought, I think that would be fun.

  bump......Also WGT why limit entrance to ready goes by the number of players?,think it would be cool to have some where there's a time limit of say six hours and let as many players enter as time allows,think this would increase purses and participants.....

  I love the idea. Would be very nice in ready go for sure.

  The waiting 12 hours after all enter is quite stupid in my opinion. Especially since i noticed we have a few players who will check leader board after tourney ends and if don't shoot low will close out and not WD and not post score,,,, in return all the rest have to wait the full 12 hours.

  Then....can't play next one until tourney ends. Should have one hour to complete round once entering. If can't......do not enter.

  Sounds good huh??   Would change the way some think about ready gos,,,  lol. Playing the wait and see game would be over. Either you do or don't,,,simple.

  The tournaments certainly need shaking up. I've given up looking now.

  Hehe, I would have to not enter. It genuinely takes me an hour to play 9 holes single player stroke play, and that's without any disconnection / connection issues, and I often get 2 or 3 of them a round.

  make all ready goes tierd,and 25 players with top 10 win prizes,shorter time limit as well

  same winds for all will not work because then someone would leak winds out and give big advantage to others.

  i'll pass these ideas on though.

  I've heard this said before and never quite understood how it would be a big advantage.

  So maybe you find out you won't need a 3W and can add a 4th wedge?  Is that 4th wedge really a big advantage over the R11 PW or another wedge in our bag?  It may have been true when we had the G10s or Raptures but now?   Or is there a laser hybrid only a few know of?  What is it Icon?

  I see it no more of an advantage than getting tail winds on par 5's and long par 4's...heck, even on shorter par 4's where (assuming Legend tees) if I'm hitting a Cleveland, I have an advantage over a player hitting his R11 PW or 9 iron.

  Okay i see......so leave it as it is and give the players with the lucky wind set the advantage.

  See something wrong with this??    LOL   Really??  Sorry Icon going to have to come up with better excuse than that. So its okay for the lucky to get the advantage??

  ( shaking head as usual )        Nothing new there. :)  

  Quite obvious nobody plays golf that works for this company, lol. And.....if do...well i can honestly say that you do not give a shite then.
