But my WGT site is not as slow as the OP is suggesting, BUT it is slower than a lot of other sites i visit online (apart from my local council site)

    Mine is though.

And my pc works just fine, cache is cleared and connection works great until I come here!

Loading times between 3-5 minutes happens lots of times for me so I would say this is wgt problem.

May I suggest people get there computers to work properly and they check their internet before  blaming the game??

What?  The same game that causes MAJOR BUGS each time they introduce some thing new?  Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah?

    No, a different game,

    .

JUST PROVED MY POINT, One of MANY who look at WGT through "rose tinted spectacles"  if you get the saying and cant see whats in front of them, or just chose to ignore it and "pretend" It doesn't exist but instead blame "OUR PC's" for the Bugs.  if you havn't noticed, you're in the MINORITY on this post, one of the only ONE's not seeing the problems every one else is seeing.  O wait, It might be all of our Pc's. lucky I kept the receipt and Its going to be the last time I spend mega bucks on a computer that cant make a line run smooth   (but i can create music with memory zapping music software and play other games in split screen whilst anti virus updates AND SCANS & also whilst watching a video at the same time as listening to music without ever a STUTTER or problem, need more eyes though)

I can acknowledge WGT's flaws (which there would be a very long list if every one put their grievances down) but I can still enjoy the game because It IS an excellent game (when deviation doesn't kill you :- but you can avoid that by not entering ready go's) But if no one ever mentions WGT's bugs and flaws or slow moving site then how are WGT's increasingly stressful programmers (or maybe work experience students at present???) ever meant to sort things out.  I'm sure the bug report option has caused a meltdown in their HQ)  I'm sure WGT are doing their best to sort issues out and we havn't a clue to how updates effect their game but after installing something simple like windows 8.1 from windows 8 even the most basic upgrade can cause a problem somewhere else (bluetooth for example) so although It might not sound like It, I DO SYMPATHISE WITH THEM.  It must be a nightmare juggling all these updates and problems they cause, but I can assure you though, ITS not my PC or probably any one else's PC on this page who's to blame for the issues.  WGT servers-YES, FLASH- YES, WGT not cleaning THEIR CACHE- YES, Internet - maybe, OUR PC'S- ????

WGT programmers cant fix nor program anything higher in technology than PONG.

The past 3, possibly 4 updates have proved nothing but disastrous. By trying to add features / options they lose features / options. The kicker is, these so called "programmers" after f'ing things up they dont know how to fix nor retrieve the features and or options they lose or DELETE.  Freaking laughable man.

    LOL..... +1

If I hear it is on my end one more time I am going to go ballistic. Before losing my job I bought the best gaming computer available. I play only WGT, no one else touches this lap top, ever. I can do things I doubt NASA can do and WGT is the only thing I have a problem with. With that said, I have said all I need to. Enough of the it is your problem BULL$HIT. I just waited 2 minutes trying to load an AS game. I asked my grand daughter to load one of her games she plays, it took about 8 seconds. That by the way was the first time anyone but me has touched this lap top. Everything is cleared, nothing running in the background and my internet is the fastest in Atlanta, Ga. Signal says excellent.

I'm actually writing this post while i'm waiting for my avatar to play a simple shot, but i;ve no doubt it'll come up with the ' unexpected error occurred, please try later' message.

another uneccessary update, eventually the game settles down after a few weeks, I can play ok, then an update, and back to problems, STOP UPDATING,IT DOESN'T NEED IT

oh, my players just completed the shot

Has there been an update? This sounds like a problem with your PC or internet.

I have absolutely NO problems with my laptop, 4gb of ram, 80mb/s fibre optic broadband, I clear my cache in between EVERY shot, but still loading timeouts, unexpected errors, this has been going on for weeks now, can't get any rythmn going, it's not every shot, but random.

how can it be that everyone who has loading problems , it has to be their comp or their connection, IT'S THE PROGRAMMING, my internets the same, my comps the same as when it's working perfectly, then there's an update and it all goes haywire.

    go figure

There is your problem. Every time you clear cache you remove files needed to display and play the game. Those files have to be loaded back into cache and that takes time. The game runs much slower for the first few rounds after clearing cache and if you clear as often as you do you are just making the game run much slower than it needs to.

I've found that when I clear, cache is the wrong word, my temp internet files is what I clear, the shot gets taken.

I've been playing this game for 18 months, this works for me to stop meter stuttering, I've posted many times on the game running slow after an update, after a while, it gets back to normal, then there's another update and off we go again

Finally, as of today, the game is running as it should, no delays, no lags, I haven't done anything to my comp, no changes, DON'T DO ANY UPDATES PLEASE
