Well, I've had my last of high wind RG's...teeing off on holes that knowing the best you can do is par...or hole out...while another player from the same tees is hitting 7.8/9 iron in...is just effing depressing.
Sure...we can all muster up a decent score in a high wind RG...but facing head wind after head wind after effing head wind, is effing demoralizing, knowing 9 times out of 10, you just won't be in the money.
So...my RG playing time will diminish considerably...I'll stick to low wind RG's and hope I ding it, and moderate wind RG's-sans the par 5 ones...what an effing joke to play par 5's into the wind and the only decent chance of scoring well, is if they play down wind...mercy the logic is beyond my comprehension....understand that I don't mind being 30-50 yards short of the green...as long as everyone else from my tees are as well!!
Why WGT won't even take a simple freaking poll of those who play these efing RG's on a daily effing basis, who (players) should be able to form their own damned opinions, is another comprehension thing that I just am not effing getting.
Maybe all them years in school just totally effed up my mind...
Maybe 1+1 really is 3, and my educators are sitting back laughing at me now..."we got another one".
Effing tiredsome it is
I don't mind frustration...I don't mind head winds, head 1/4ing winds, etc...but what is so hard to compre-effing-hend and understand that if I play down wind on every effing hole...hell, even the par s, on any effing course that WGT has -albeit the par 3 courses- that I have a better chance of posting a low score than another player hitting into the same damned winds??
WTF am I missing here?
FFS WGT...give it a damned trial run...we'd asked for this over a year ago...set up high wind tourney's where all players entering know they have the same effing winds as each other...run the same effing tourney for a month, a week, 16.2 effing days...who the eff cares?...
Get some damned data and player input, if getting 90% headwinds and a player scores 3 under and feels good about it, and looses to a 5 under in the same damned conditions, he/she knows what part of their game they have to work on.
What is so effing hard to figure out about this?
Tell ya what WGT...set up a same wind condition 200 or 300 credit RG in high winds at SA or RSG, and I'll play it daily till my credits run dry and not ***/moan or complain about another head wind into a par 5 again...why?...because every one else is hitting into like-same conditions as I am.
Again, what is so difficult to grasp in regards to this concept?
Think about it WGT...you offer no wind tourneys...yes, those who can master the ding have an edge...and those who have mastered putting, have an edge...so when I (we) fall a stroke or two off the pace, we KNOW why...it wasn't because the leader(s) got a decent wind set and allowed them to have the opportunity to have a 12 foot Eagle putt, where another is hitting from 50 yards out in a 1/4ing head wind to make a bird opportunity happen.
And like Forest..."that's all I have to say about that"
