Personally, I've found the best way to relieve stress when robbed of yet another bird when playing stroke is this. I switch out my putter for my 3 wood, fetch a mental picture of either Chad's, or Mr. Cheng's head and overlay it on the ball, use the lowest power setting I can get on my meter and let 'er rip. It's surprisingly accurate at most anything under 4' and quite satisfying to fight "realism" with "realism".
