  Isn't that what alternate shot is? Two teams playing against each other and the lowest scoring team wins?

  I see the difference now what fourball is from link, and never played it.

  Problem is the game's too easy right now. With the current state of the game, a fourball match between Legends would be a birdie on every hole and an eagle on every reachable par 5. Pretty tedious.

  I think four ball would be fun.  We can play it now, just have to keep track on our end.

  4 players in a stroke play round and just keep score on your own.  There just isn't anyway to keep stats/ win loss records that way.

   

  Game host would pick his/her partner and if all agreed, you could play for a sleeve of balls. ( I'd only do that with a group of people I'd trust to pay out though lol)

   

  It's a bit surprising that WGT hasn't implemented it yet though,  as it would increase the ball usage for the game.  ;-)

  Or how about bloodford. For those who don't know your opponent chooses which ball you have to play. Or it could be called worst ball. 

  This type on match could be interesting.

  My thought, besides the fun of it, was for the training aspect. What a tremendous tool that would be for teaching.  :-)
