    borntobesting:

    Or how about bloodford. For those who don't know your opponent chooses which ball you have to play. Or it could be called worst ball.

    I don't know why, but we call that Canadian foursomes in the UK

    YankeeJim:

    I would like to see a scramble format. Both players hit from the best shot of the two that they decide on.  :-)

    Great idea

    I like the idea as well. I would also like to see alternate shot and scramble available in practice games for twosomes. Great as a teaching tool and also just for fun and practice.

    I would love to see a real scramble , and the ball closest to the pin on the fairway, or green is the ball you play. like a real scamble

    There's another twist to the scramble ... it's known as a "four club" scramble.  Each player in the team can only have 4 clubs (their choice) and you play best ball.  You can also play "four club" tournaments ... much tougher, but a lot of fun.

    let me pose a question:

    lets assume both hit from the tee into fairway: 3 yards award. One player wants to use his position to hit, other wants to use his... they cannot agree.

    How do you handle this in a fair and timely manner as not to slow the game play? Please remember that this is a decision that can be had after every hit on a 18 hole game...
