  I won sudden death with James.............he played better but has been unlucky.

  Another match with 1 hole in it . .

  

  I only just held on to par on the front 9 while Joe tore it up including an incredible eagle.

  I manged to get 5 birds on the back 9 but alas also 2 bogeys and Joe goes through.

  Great fun game Joe good luck in the next round . . . and play soon!

  There should have been a loser bracket,

  It would have been nice to play with more than just one owner. Maybe next time!

  Enjoyable game with Scott (Shok30). We both started off a little shaky but my putter abandoned me on the front nine while Scott was solid through the middle holes and held off my charge down the stretch.

  This is true.  18 holes takes a while.  If it were 9 holes, I could have fit it in during work.

  That's one reason I agreed with Carlo in another thread on a group stage 4 players in each group play 3 matches.

  We did have an extra match while waiting for other players to get their match in the last owners tourny . . . dunno if anyones up for that . .

  9 hole match-play would have suited better but let's not be too harsh on the tourny starter :-)
