Allow finalize round with "last ball of a kind" rather than removing it directly mid game

When last ball of a kind is taken out of play during round it is automatically replaced by starter balls (no other options available) which can be rather annoying as it may well affect perfomance and score.

I appreciate that in PGA golf you must use the same ball during a round (which is WGT's rationale for current practice), but since that principle is broken in any case when a ball is replaced with starter balls mid round, I feel the rationale is not entirely valid

Well – having thought about whether I could contribute a constructive suggestion, how about this for consideration:

When a ball is due to be taken out, allow the player to complete the round with the ball in play and then take It out.  You could flash a message “this ball will be taken out of play at completion of this round” – rather than simply removing it directly.  I realize that duration of a particular ball would then vary slightly, but you could say “so what” – isn’t it more fair to let a player complete the round with the same ball? Actually you could argue that this would even more closely resemble PGA rules - and hence provide a perfectly legitimate rationale for such a (new) practice?

You get a warning before the round starts and options to buy more. Isn't that enough?

    Yes, it most certainly is.

And if u r fiddling around with different balls and don't know the life left, then start a practice round and see what u have left, if it ain't red then u have enough for 18 holes - Callaways

    other balls may vary

What if before you complete the round but after you've been given the warning you hit that last ball into a lake or OB?

Simply put, it is the player's responsibility to make sure his/her bag is properly stocked before a round. Knowing WGT's version of the "One Ball" rule, it's incredibly easy to make sure you have enough of the right ball in the bag to complete a round. As for the odd leftover balls when you switch brands or models, use them up in CTTH, Blitz, single holes played for the CDP bonus, tough shot practice using mulligans. If the ball runs out in the middle of those it's not a big deal in terms of lost time and shots.

    Or.

You can use the odd left over ball to boost your Master Your GameWater Boy - award score by purposely hitting the leftover balls into a water hazard.

    Well that defines irony nicely.

I support the idea, as it seems rational. But should be ball will go at end of round or lost/water/OB whichever comes 1st. Seriously when was the last time you seen a ball just go "POOF" at the tee because the balls life was up lol.

    Mes.

Revenue ... buy balls or pay green fees. I'll buy balls.
