Been a rugby player for a while, get this sport too late so thats' mine.
This is for me the most famous drop/victory in the new millenium.

Passion and strongest feeling that only rugby can give, personal opinion.

Immortals will also be for me the matches of the Italian national team played in the post 2000 with the draw with Wales at the Millennium Stadium and the victory to Murreyfielf of 2007 matches for which I cried.

One of the greatest moments in sports for me was British sprinter Derek Redmond finishing the 400 meters at the Barcelona Olympics in the arms of his father after tearing his hamstring.

Stopped playing at 15..( took it up again here in last 2 years on Winter Sundays ) the exhilaration of playing is one thing but can't compare to watching moments like those :)

The Welsh team fired my enthusiasm in the 70's, the likes of Barry Johns, Gareth Edwards and J.P.R. Williams...class !

    Sent  thx 4 the memory's F

Too many sporting highlights to mention but I will go for a true courageous hero who changed the face of the Winter Olympic Movement - Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards participating (if we can really call it that) at the Calgary 1988 Olympics.

Now you actually have to meet qualifying standards.

But boy could he soar like a brick.
