My meter just won't stop jumping and I have no idea why. but it has got worse since I moved to the master tier.

I have deleted my browsing history, cookies, temporary files, flash player cache, I also have only wgt running when I am playing. my laptop is fairly new and runs without issues unless I am playing wgt.

I have hardly hit a fairway or landed the ball close to the pin for the last few rounds on various courses.

what the hell is going on?

What OS and browser combo are you using to play?

    Windows 7 and firefox.

I have lost several balls and I haven't had a below par round in quite a while.

Might be worth checking the system configuration and start up to make sure there's nothing running that you don't want or need,

...and when you cleared your flashplayer cache did you have to redo all the game settings?  If not then the cache may not have been cleared properly.

Is your laptop indexing files for the search function, this might be going on in the background.

...if the indexing shows complete then you're okay, but it will do new files as and when they appear.

Everything is running fine and I did have to reset all the game settings.

I've just upgraded flash player yet again so I'll see if that works.

I'm sure you have a great PC James, but ask yourself this, would WGT create a game which required a high spec machine on which it needed to be played? In order to have the biggest catchment possible the game needs to be able to run on the humblest of systems, as people can choose to spend very little to play, a lot of players are needed to generate a good return.

Good Point Scott and considering this game is not a system hog because it is flashed based further empasizes your fact.

James send the PC to me for testing :)

Download the Free Maxthon Browser at Maxthon.com... it seems to handle  meter jitters and jumps at least until WGT finds out your using it and then other crap begins to happen. Things like kicking you off your game 3 times in 4 tees. Then they come back and disqualify you because YOU quit the game 3 times.

The people that run this game must get a big kick out of throwing screwdrivers into the programming. They must like to see people get wrong shots ro lost balls in the water holes for  no real reason except they know you will have to but more.

There isn't a game on the internet that doesn't advertise FREE that is until  you have played it a lot and done real well because they made it happen. Then things change and they want MONEY so they arrange for your game to act strange. little things like a well hit drive on the ding  for 275 yrds against 6mph lands 168 yrds down the fairway. Or your 38 yrd shot over water with a 4 dot distance New Callawy ball hit 35 on the ding go up and comes down spoosh in the water. Your next one up hit the same and it goes over the water and lands 3 ft from the hole. Amazing how that happens and it's our fault. WGT wouldn't do something like that to sell golf balls i would hope not.

WGT your making it worse more then good and some days terrible to play your game and i don't see you getting it from all the complaints. Obviously, you either don't care what people think or you realized you spent the money to but the Novus 1000v VEM and embed it into the VSM hoping to make your game more like real. Did it ever occur to you that normal , non PGA golfers are not that good on the course but here they can have a great time and succeed to get better. And for that, they would thank you for it.

I had one day when I was playing The Best 5 Par Holes for 9 holes and was having a great time with everything working like it should have . Drives were right on, putts to the hole and go in. Flop shots with full backspin and Cleveland wedge hit right and it stuck on the green. I finished each of two rounds at -6 with an Eagle on each round. I was flying high and one happy camper. I came on this Forum and thanked WGT for making my day a wonderful experience. That was a few days ago, now we're right back to the same old thing of inconsistent shots and putts. Things that  didn't happen a few days ago on the same course , with the same conditions. Too bad it has to be so obvious to all about what your doing to destroy your game. i hope you will come to your senses soon before you have to close the doors from lack of business.

The jumpy meter comes and goes, and has done so for all of the time I've been here. I just expect it to come around from time to time...small potatoes.
