If you were to edit (or have the CC owner) edit the tread, there is an option to make it "sticky" for certain amounts of time (including infinite).
So the option is already there.

*edit* seems only the thread originator can make it sticky.... and possibly only the club owner?? I know I can only sticky a thread that I've started... can anyone confirm if this option is available to non-owners?
As club owner you can make any post by another member "sticky." You can edit any post made by another member as well.
Just click the edit link at the bottom of the post you want to make sticky or edit.
