meter jumping.

  My meter is very smooth when playing by myself but when I am playing with others a lot of stop and start.Makes it hard to compete.Hope you can help.

  the meter is the same as always f u c k ed  up and they are not going 2 fix it . its like this so they can take the ball you buy ......

  Its the same on all competitions, its bandwidth lag, and it makes it a waste of time playing, get it fixed WGT.

  They won't. They will just tell you to do all the stuff to your computer, that really does NOT do much at all. They use their money they earn for other things.

  I  got a new compute built AMD 3.8 GHZ processor  with no separate video card no more meter problems now smooth as silk even when playing multi player

  WE can never fix WGT's meter Courteney.  The things we do to our computers to get a smooth meter are "work arounds" for WGT's problems. 

  As an example, I'd like to leave the forum or community windows open while I play an AS.  But I can't because the flash ads and flash friends list interfere with the game client and make the meter jump.  Another work around I do is set the affinity of the game processes and Skype process to different processors so Skype doesn't interfere with the game and make the meter jump.

  I do agree thousands of people have tweaked their computers to get a smoother meter.  But it doesn't make sense to me that thousands have to do things because a few WGT programmers aren't fixing WGT's code.

  would you care to elaborate courtney,iv'e won tons of rg's here with a bareable meter.im still waiting for a round or even maybe 3 holes without meter skips.the last 4 days best i can hole out is bunkers and fescue.any idea's from anyone on improving meter to how it was never mind smooth would be appreciated.i always ask in the forums as WGT is the biggest waste of space here.maxthon browser same as about a year.only thing i done last week was update to windows 8.1 from windows 8.has this made it worse anyone?

  really , i stream padora , leave forum open with 3 other windows  and have over 170 friends in my list yet dont suffer from meter issues ... the only  thing i do and its not even a tweak is hold power for a 3 count . the only time i ever see a stutter is if i play to fast . not sure who first posted that tip but believe YankeeJim re-posted it before ... but i guess its just easier to blame WGT...
