I understand that some shots do need some thought but since when does it take 44 out of 45 seconds to tap in a five inch straight putt.

    five inch putt? cc. already

All this reminds me of an old golf buddy who had a friend who was impatient with long line ups for putts. He often said during games..... Hit the fkn thing, and if it doesn't go in...hit it again.    Maybe try that chat and see how it goes.  ;)

I am talking about stroke play, you can't concede a putt on stroke play. Shrug.

    DAVE21265:
It's like that person is saying " I am going to keep him waiting as long as possible". It just makes me think "grow up". It does not affect my game either it just spoils a good game and makes it boring.

Why make up shyt in your own head? How the hell do you know what another player is thinking? I would say the problem stems from your attitude, not your opponents timing.

There could be a 1000 reasons why they do it.  Sometimes I miss cedes and sometimes just notice its my shot when the timer is halfway through. Not gamesmanship, it's usually because I'm rolling or smoking one.

I am not making up anything it is a fact that there are players who waste time for no reason by running the clock down to the last second on the easiest of shots like tap ins. Most players don't do this but there are some who do. If someone is going to play they should be watching the game instead of sitting there fiddling around with other things then they would know when it is their shot. No one is remotely interested whether you are rolling a smoke or not, no one cares one bit about that. Use some common sense and roll your smoke before you start a game, it is not rocket science. Have a nice day lol.

The 45 seconds is to allow for shots that need some thought. It doesn't take 44 out of 45 seconds for a tap in putt. That is what I mean when I say timewasting.

I know all about psychology and I know that people use gamesmanship in real sport but on an internet game, that is weird. Why not just get on with it.
