credits via mobile topup

    It apparently doesn't work in the US either. I don't even get a text sent to my phone. I have waited over an hour for a text to come through. I do not know how it worked before, but it doesn't work now. I don't see any reason to actually a)put sensitive information into WGTs system or b)only get 1cr/1cent...when you can get a little more using this method. I have just started this game, but I won't purchase any more credits unless it is by this method. I love the game so far, but I am not that addicted that I can't "quit while I am ahead" ...lol

    hi can anyone help plz. i am trying to get credits and when i put my mobile number in and press to buy credits it does nothing dont send me a txt with code even, whats going on heeeeeeeeeeeeelp

    Have you double checked the mobile number you entered is correct?  I've never had a problem with it.

    I mean no offence, I just know how easy it is to hit a wrong number.

    I had a similar problem..and no one seemed to be able to figure it out. I couldn't even link my phone to paypal. The phone company even said that there was nothing that would stop me from being able to do the mobile top up, or link to paypal.

    It turned out that these type of texts are grouped into some sort of advertising type of thing...can't think of proper terminology right now. Anyways, what happened with me was that I had rejected a text before about some sort of ad trying to get me to sign up for something or do something. I forgot all about this. Luckily, I called back to the phone company one time and got an amazing employee that took the time to try and actually figure it all out...that is when she found that I had those type of texts blacklisted (rejected). She took off the rejection, and everything worked great after that.

    So, contact the cell company and tell the representative that you may have rejected a certain type of advert text before, and it may be blocking your ability to use this service now. If they actually do the checking, they will probably find this. Hope this helps

    I've been using it as well. As of a few days ago it's saying my carrier is not supported. I'm on Telus, checked with Zong and Telus is listed along with other Canadian carriers. 

    Not sure what's going on with it but can't use it anymore

    I know this thread is a bit old. I have been using mobile to obtain credits. I have Tmobile and it has never been a problem. I tried today, however, and it is giving me the same error as the post that I quoted.
