I had a shot on beth 15th , and I aimed as I would with the bladez .

3 above the hole and roll it back , but nope it stopped dead !! with nike 48, left my partner with a horrible putt downhill.

wait, so if it had to roll back but stopped instead, it means the stopping power is worse or trajectory lower... That would hurt a lot, because that hole is usually a birdie with R11, even with slight ding misses.

no that means that the stopping power is greater and trajectory is higher!!

if it stops on a downhill slope like beth 15 ,then the stopping power is better.

$40 bucks for virtual irons? Sorry, but thats just retarded.

WGT will be in Beta forever and will continue to rape idiots with products that cost ZERO to make.

WGT better watch their back before another company swipes all of us. WGT is is still the best but its not as cutting edge as it was 4 years ago. Just sayin'.

They seem shorter from the fairway, but again it was first time out with them and I play full bs 97% of the time

If you play full B/Spin most of the time and find your shots are coming up short (this is with any set of Irons too)... Take some spin off.  Just short of full b/spin might get you the extra distance.

I tried the Bladz out a while ago because I was having trouble with fast meter speeds and found the club yardages for them were perfect for Beth. Saying perfect, ya still have to hit a good shot.

As Jim said before....  the most trouble I'm having with the Irons (L97) is the meter speed. I find meself clicking a tad too early most of the time....lol  Not too worried about that for now, I'm loving the speed.....lol

gfs - the irons being discussed are $30, not $40.

I agree that WGT will be in beta as long as it is in existence, mostly due to liability issues. Once they are no longer in beta they will have to be able to prove to juries in class action lawsuits all over the world that the loss of credits by customers due to fraud and disconnects aren't their fault. Right now they can hide the liability behind the "beta" label.

As for the price of virtual irons being retarded? Not to a lot of people. To those who play games here and depend on winning credits to pay for their WGT recreation, the clubs are well worth the money. The clubs are the tools of their trade, so to speak.

Some players have amassed hundreds of thousands of credits with very little to spend them on. To them, 3,000 or 4,000 credits amounts to petty cash. Almost meaningless.

Still others have set their sights on tier or average goals and see the clubs as a means of achieving those goals. That sense of accomplishment that comes with it could make the club price very worthwhile to them.

There are also people who simply want to have the best. The best car, the best house, the best of whatever. To them the best virtual clubs are worth the price.

before I found this game , I would spend every weekend at a bar ,what I spent there in credits almost hurts when I make up the numbers !!!

play here for free with the starters or spend a few dollars.

each one has to make that choice, if it is worth it or not.

I do hear a few tounges about wgt no longer being the only choice, but lets see how that plays out.

I am happy so far , I play with great friends across the world, and I look forward to it every day !

I was hoping for  a choice , and I got it with these Irons.

they will compete with the r11's

I would like to know very much the performance difference between the level 85 and level 97 Nikes.

the 115 PW sounds interesting, presumably it punches to 103 yards, yes ?

I'd wait for the 97. the 85's are inferior to your current R11,
unless of course you're having a hard time with the R11 punishing nature&speed.
I'd say the 85's are much like the burners back in the day.

    Sigg..

How is your mapping going? Is it me or are the 3 & 4i just dogs from the fairway? They just seem so weak.
